Okay correction everyone it is indeed a 2nd Gen. OBD1 B16 motor w/ a hydro tranny but non lsd. So VTEC me in a few hours... It's just temporary till I go ls/vtec/turbo sometime in the near or distant future.

He's charging me $2,400 with the engine swapped in. I think that's a fair price considering most place's sell the engine for that price alone...

You trying to go H2B?

Ludes have Dual Runner Intake Manifolds and civics are single. Thats all i know, oh and they have an EGR valve/solenoid which I know my civic doesn't have. Im guessing you want to know the smog diffrences right?

it sounds like the motor is an xsi(if its like the one in the link) which is early obd1, and the trans is from another motor.. you might want to know what trans you're getting. I don't know why but a B16 with an ls trans doesn't seem like much fun at face value... then again, neither does a car with a blown head gasket.. </TD></TR></TABLE>

there are cable b16 trannys. cable still imo

yea, but he said he has a hydro tranny coming with it... it's not a bone stock engine trans combo.

I actually like cable trans, just not the ratios they come with in hondas.

Well after all else has been said and done, it doesn't matter cause my hatch is now at my homie's shop. He confirmed that it was indeed a 2nd Gen. B16 off of the EG6 from Japan and that it is a hydro tranny + LSD. But damn he doe's engine's+swap's for pretty damn cheap, he said he had a '96 spec ITR motor from his friend's ITR and said he would do the motor + swap for $4k, or $4,2k with some bolt on's... If only I had the money.

Indeed... I think after the motor I'm just gonna focus all my attention on suspension/safety-interior.

Hahaha I left a comment on your Myspace a few day's ago I think. I was talking to some dude with a '00 Tacoma TRD package and he was considering a trade for my hatch, and the only thing he had was black American Racing wheel's with some fatty tire's and that **** looked sick, because it was black on black but he never got back to me.

But damn that dude got his 4door stolen? Wasn't he that white dude with the slightly long hair that went out to the 562 meet's? I'll definately keep an eye out... expletive thieves that's another Ferio stolen in the past 2 month's.

nah bro, he said he was getting a 1st gen obd1 B16 (1stgen = cable trans), then he corrected himself and said he was getting a 2nd gen B16 = Hydro Trans). He is getting a bone stock engine/trans combo. If he wasn't I don't know why he wouldn't choose a b16/GSR/ITR tranny to come with the long block and still pay that much. But yeah, I don't mind the cable trannys much, but if I had a choice, I rather go hydro.

Nice, should go H2B though. gsr/b16 tranny for like 5-600 i believe. (not sure, ive just seen a couple go for that much). I i think you can get the h22 long blocks for like 1500-2000, maybe a little less. They're cheaper the ITR, but more then GSR. You'll get better gearing from the Bseries trans, and more ground clearence.
