workin like a **** as usual. Got a few more bits for the VTi. Got some 5w 40 Fully synthetic oil, a hamp oil filter and some denso iridiums fitted a week or 2 ago. I've still got my cambelt, just waiting on a water pump and a metal camseal to arrive, should be coming tomorrow. Milage check shows 31k on the clock and still fresh, haha

I'd been running mis-matched wheels for a couple weeks as i'd been taking time to choose some new tyres after becoming fed up with the soft sidewall of toyo proxies. With my alloys only being 5.5" wide the 195/50/15 proxie would wallow and rollover in hard cornering.

So opted for oem dc2 itr tyres since they were made for wheels no wider than 6.5" apparently. Anyway these bridgestone potenza re010's are **** hot!!! The sidewall is solid, makes for better cornering, not pushed them in the wet yet though, but dry grip is just as good as the proxies i'd say. Also chose oem size with the 55 sidewall, tyres in this size are way pricier compared to the 50 sidewall but i wanted oem size to match the gearing.

Next up more service parts, black diamond discs and pads all round, there goes another $400+

here's a pic of the tyres for the hell of it

hey congrat to the new members, you guys should tell us your names so we could know and Jeff could add them in to the list.

SO whats up guys, well I spent 130$$$ this yesterday... I had to buy the JDM corner light because one broke, get some new wipers because they were finished and headlights one the low beam did work and the other the high beam didnt work so I bought some Sylvania Silverstars. I have to say they light up nicely and are a bit better then stock.

I also drove around which was fun. I even raced a this guy in a saturn which I really just smoked him I think it was like 2 car lenghts. Well I am having fun for now. Next I have to go and get some Motul 5w40 and a Honda oil filter and get some new liquid in there.

Dave

I'm gonna put some winter tyres on the old set of 14's that came with my car, will only use these properly in the other 3 seasons.

btw the BC spec II sounds like ***, my friend had one for two days, couldnt stand the noise on his EF8 SiR. He replaced it with a Tanabe SMR after.

Really it's that bad? I just like the way it looks, real plain and simple. Is it loud/raspy or loud/deep?

i dont think its raspy...just pure loud lol, the res makes a difference so it wont be raspy and more lower toned but still friggin loud....

i just raced at 84+ Rabbit on the freeway.....he was boosting, and that **** was fast, i must admit but i still got him well it was 2 runs one going up hill on the freeway and i took him and second right before a really wet turn so i slowed down before i went to 5th so i didnt want to lose control and crash, so he went around and slid in my lane....dumbass....and he hit his hazards lol but i gotta say his rabbit was fast....but boosting, i heard the turbo spool, i was like oh great, im going to get smoked
