to lessen the impact of the front and rear....but eh..its dead weight. Thats kind of like whats the purpose of a stock hood over a cf hood. Stock hoods are made to buckle during impact, while do cf hoods reallydo? kinda dont think so. depends on the eye of the beholder, do you need it? or is it dead weight. Kinda goes the same with the spare tires, rear seats, passenger seat, a/c, power steering, etc...</TD></TR></TABLE>

Damn right, lose it all, there's no point. My bumper get's hit, a new one is $60.

yeah true but i'm sure when he pulled over he was checking out what was wrong with his motor and then was waiting for his friend to come and pick him up....

I feel you but think about how old our cars are, no matter what, if you dent our cars, they're pretty much totally I'm surprised Charlie's wasn't.

well who's fault was it ? the pole or the driver? that is what you have to put into consideration when thinking of removing the reinforcements or not...but yeah for the reinforcement in that case.

its not really a debate really. Its there for a reason, and the reason for it is to lessen the impact of the car front and back if hit. But to me IMO, I don't need, my cars so low if a car hits me, they totally miss the bumper support, and trust me, its happen twice already. once I went under a truck and just messed up the rad support, 2nd a stock da backed into the front of my car and literlly just ran up my hood like he was monster truckin me. Oh yeah, and one time i tried to bump my freineds sentry with my front bumper(it was messed up so i didnt care to much for it), it was just a small tap, but my car was too low and went under his rear bumper not touching my bumper support at all. Plus the car is so old, and i feel Im a good enough driver where my chances of myself hitting something is less. Theres are pros and cons, it just depends what the beholder him or herself feels is more important to keep. Less weight or keep impact damage less.

it was the poles fault, it jumped in front of her.... ....i mean shiet happens, no matter if it could be you fault or not....you hit a dog, example, your fault or the dog. its just shiet happens, some thing you can't help......

nah, I still find it useful at the moment...

I wish I wasn't purposely staying in the house this week just to save up money for the weekend.
