..well..time to do some homework for about 4 hours..

 

Im not sure if i can do this seeing as im not in the sqad but ill do it anywayz. lol. I'm Gabe i got a 92 DX with a B16A with LSD, stage 2 clutch, Intake, and a 5Zigen exhaust (soon to be sold for something better). The car used to be the OEM Teal but it got repainted to a BMW M5 teal (i dont remember the name nor the code, sorry). Its got 17" GN+1's, but soon to be sold for some nice 15's. I just bought some coil-overs but am lookin for a good deal on some struts. The list goes on and on and on....I will post up pics as soon as i get it dropped.

Hey sup err'one, i'm Danny and i drive a 92 vx, it was bought white and after discovering some shotty touch up work done by the used car lot i decided on some new skin for her so i went with a pontiac aztec (urban lookin) green w/ a black roof, i used the door jamb code cuzz i didnt want any metal flake or pearl in it. I've had every set of oem wheels except hx's(14's), i'm currently rockin some 14"oem 98 ex hubbies. Under the hood is a mostley built B-20 vtec(stock sleeves and stock port head) w/ all the bolt-on goodies w/ a 99 si tranny. Plans for the summer are to bump up the comp. again (from 10.5 - 12.5), get a set of aftermarket wheels(tired of oem), get some decent shocks and struts( still have the stock 92 blown to hell ones) and redo the exhaust from 2 1/2 - 3", but as ya'll know of course the list never ends...........

i've got a Q for u guys. So i've been noticing that alot of ppl have been getting what seem to be after market headlights that have the black housing already done, and the like lense for the light doesn't have all the bumps in it. its smooth. i think it looks good. anyways, where do you guys get this? what company makes it? etc....

 

you must be talking bout the tyc headlights for the 5th gen. civic. i hope this is what you talking bout. they have them in black also. i found the cheaper version too. usually you can find them on ebay. if you want a good kind, get tyc.

You can always checkout eBay, but I personally don't like em' very much. Are they even DOT approved and do you need to re-seal them like most aftermarket headlights? I say you just stick with getting the jdm Stanley headlights...

you know tyc product are all DOT approved. tyc makes them headlights. my friend has a pair. never leaked on him.

Oh I did not know that... Are they made in the US or oversea's?

 

lol.....i made 25 bucks off of 6 d's tonight while driving for my pizza comp....lol......work at both jobs tomorrow.

here's a old pix of mine right after i got them(like 2 1/2yrs ago) there some cheap ones i got from a place called phasenine.com, but i think they're closed now but i'm pretty sure they're like the ebay ones, anyhow i've had them 2 1/2 yrs and have never had any leaks or probs. w/ them hazing/dulling

hmm, well it seems like these are good, and they also seem like they might be good for a HID retro because the lense isnt like "fluted"?
