Damn that sucks man.
If you are going to rebuild anyways, mine as well do it with the block you have I suppose.
Building my bench today since I cant really work on the hatch.

Yeah, well im undecided of rebuilding this block or just buying a used running long block. I'm just trying to weigh which route would be cheaper and faster. But im worriabout I buy a running long block that it might not last me very long since I'm looking for an obd 1 motor so I can BAR and don't want to convert to obd 2 just for it if I get a 96+ block. So far all I'm finding are blocks with 150k+ miles. I'm leaning towards rebuilding at the moment though since I only have about 900 at still need a trans. I wish I didn't sell my old one but rent was due.

Just came back from the dentist office after getting a filling. The right side of my mouth is completely numb, I'm drooling on myself and sound like an idiot when I talk

sup squad!
I finally stop being lazy & checked out how bad the condition of my block was and finally put it on an engine stand. 3 years ago this was still a perfectly good and running block but now it has rusted up cylinder walls since i had to move home and my pops wouldnt allow me to keep it in the garage or shed. I bought the engine stand 3 years ago too but never got around to mounting the motor on it. haha lazyness at my finest. Hatch could've been up and running by now
oh well, Time for a bore and hone and rebuild. or should I just sell?
cleaned it up a bit

the cylinders
