I've never seen that before. Pretty awesome and exactly what I wish the EG2 muffler was.

Vega, the silver one is an EG2 teardrop; dual outlet on the wrong side, and the two mid-pipes gives it away.

LOL, The first teardrop was made for the EF8 CR-X but could be made to fit the EF9 . They also made the same EF-style Teardrop for the EG2 Delsol and EG9 4dr. The EG6 had the reverse teardrop like the ones above.

sorry John, but i gotta correct ya ..the EG2 teardrop has the Mugen badge on the USDM passenger side of the muffler while the one Vega posted has the badge in the center..

just like the one euy posted and as seen here..

 

^Sadly this what I mostly see and hear about teardrops.....Teardrop=RUST!!

Also you are right about the location of the badge, The EG one also has a knotch for the rear tow hook as you can see in the pic about wereas the EF one does not.
Both EF8 teardrop and EF9 one have a dual entree and exit pipes wereas the EF3 one only has one in and two out.

It might be possible that there are two versions then? The one pictured below doesn't have an emblem on the right, it's silver, and it's too small to tell what is in the middle or not. Correct me if I'm wrong but I am 99% positive the mid-pipe is two piece, which is unusual for that era Mugen exhausts also, isn't it?

 

yes, the mid pipe is 2 pieces and including the muffler, its a 3 piece full exhaust system..

heres a close up pic of the one youre referring to..



sux the camera angle isnt wide enough to show the badge off to the side ..but i can guarantee you there is only 1 version of the Mugen EG2 exhaust

 

One thing that I have been trying to figure out about the Delsol pictured above is the Mr5's look like they are 16"... They also look like they have the Final version lip, however the Final versions only came in 15" and all of the 16"s I have seen are just the normal style lip...............any one, any one??
Or maybe they are 15" and I'm on crack....either way I'm sure that the crack has something to do with this either way lol

Anniversaries are 15"

Both have stepped lips
