I have never seen or heard of this. Kinda strange because I don't know of any race motors that would use that. The kanji font is new school but looking at the build of it, it should be the older kanji font.
Definitely interesting.

Some of you guys may be too young to remember but when ebay first started there were guys selling Mugen v8 headers for dirt cheap. some ppl doubted authenticity until they read about Mugens involvement with building engines for race teams.

Ken (Moto) is 34 and has lived in Japan his entire life working at race tracks since his pre-teens and building hondas ever since he could drive (mid 80s) and working for some of the JDM tuners that make us drool. He probably has a larger stock pile of info built into his head than nearly anyone one Honda-Tech. Not to mention he can read Kanji, although it might "all look the same" to us, he can easily tell a difference in font. It would be like seeing a DOHC mugen valve cover written in times new roman, it would be blatantly obvious to us.
