Didn't go on the Turbo mag tour. We were lookin into it, but decided to do it ourselves. We hit up Kyoto first then took the JR to Tokyo for TAS. We spent the last day at Twin Ring Motegi. It was a pain in the *** to get to by train/bus.

How was the Turbo mag tour? Did you get freedom to roam around or was the tour on a very tight schedule?

The Turbo Mag tour was awesome. It's up to you what you want to do, you could kick it on the tour or go off and do your own thing. They just said make sure you where in the lobby on time for the bus back to the airport. And yes the Twin Ring was a hell of a trip from Tokyo, but we did get to drive some cars and karts.
