Clean car none the less though.

Cool. Never knew exactly what that hole was.
Does that mean that this car is also a HYPE R?

I guess even owning two ITR's doesn't do the job.
However, I'll give it my .02
From our assumption, Edicks ITR was a pre-97 car (which is why the hole is there). Have I personally seen it on JDM ITR's? Yes, with all the Clips we have bought and sold, we have seen this many of times.
I personally saw the car, when it arrived. Unless the people in Japan, went as far as they did (i.e rear lower subframe, No floor tar, rear factory brace mounts, sway bars, 4x114 etc etc etc), then I guess we will never know. Just like the discussion before, was that they never made 96-97 Black JDM ITR's. Did they? yes.
It's a disappointment to see people in this community continue to post incorrect information without giving it a second thought. Rather than do some research and dig a little deeper, many people are quick to make assumptions with no factual basis. It's a shame that this is what it's come to, and hopefully we can get back to the way things used to be, where we focus on what a car is, and not try to look for reasons to compromise its integrity.
For proof? I personally have seen Jeremy Redzone's ITR, and can confirm as well for it being a 100% Authentic ITR. But again, I'm sure people will assume, what they want to assume

Condition= 9.5/10, as close to brand new as they can get. Probably the cleanest set known to man unless someone busts' out with a bnib set

I too would like to have true information out there for everyone. I know for sure that on my USDM ITR that hole is not there. On my JDM one, I will have to check this weekend to verify. Since I have never had the need to really look in that area enough to memorize it and I don't have a picture right now showing that area. Like I said, when I go to the car I will take a look at it and take a picture. If I am wrong, then I will be the first person to admit that it is there on the 96 spec ITR's. Since mine is a 96 spec it should be the same.
Here is a picture of the engine bay of my USDM, you will see on the left behind the ABS bracket, that there is an indention in the metal. That is where the hole would be on regular integra's.

Well, we all already know that USDM ITR's all do not have the hole in them. If it wasn't on the 97, then it wasn't on the 98, 00, and 01.
By this weekend we should know for sure, what is what on JDM ITR's.
I just want to put this out there though. The reason I am looking for the hole in my car, is to help back my statement up. I am not doing this to put anyone down or to say that any one persons car is a POS. The car that was originally in question, is hands down a BADASS car! I can only hope to have mine somewhat close to being as nice as it one day.
So if anyone is offended by me finding out the way that it really is, I'm sorry, I'm just in for the truth of the intake hole.
