basically. with a hell of a nice brake rotor.
i love mine. they are smooth, doesnt take much to get them to work. i want to try some more aggressive pads, as im only usin ebc greens that came with them. I also have mugen stainless lines front and rear. i was trying to get the second set of rotors esteban said hed send me so i could turn them but i havent got them yet and i bought the brakes off him in sept

yea i can imagine they work well but they are kind of pricey... i believe $1300 is kind of steep

you can get spoon calipers for the same price. which work on stock sized rotors. larger rotors have an advantage over smaller just based on heat dissipation and leverage.
any big brake kits gonna cost a grip for sure. i didnt pay that for mine...if i did, it woulda been one of the last mugen things i bought.

Since were talking about brakes and their expense, I got a awesome and cheap solution and no one caught onto it when I posted the other day under my MF-8's.
These are s2000 fronts, Caliper and rotor, redrilled to 4x114.3 for $360, both sides.
Even better, UNDER 15's, NO SPACER! I didnt post these pics on H-T yet....

CHEAP ACTIVE GATE FTW!!!
