if you look at the NR10 and NR10-R, aside from the round holes around the edge of the wheel(that youre talking about dremeling), the actual face has more open squares on the R's compared to the regular NR10's..therefore its not that easy

add on top of that the fact than an NR10 has a raised center area to allow for the centercaps... note that the NR10R does NOT have this same raised center bore

hopefully this will end all trivial arguments about how the NR10R "does too come w/ caps" because it doesn't. If your set has caps that's because someone thought it was pretty, but they are not supposed to have center caps as they are a competition wheel.

yes it does show caps, but i was using that pic for reference to show the differences between the 2, if someone were to try and dremel an NR10 to look like and NR10-R

Indeed it does, but it also perfectly demonstrates how out of place those caps are. Trust me, NR10Rs are not supposed to have caps. Why people put them on there, I have no idea. Why people put tow hooks on their cars, I dunno. Why people put bumper poles on there car, I dunno. Why people hang stuffed animals from their tow-hooks, I dunno. I guess some people just like to get flossy.

lol, im not arguing, just examining. I know nr10R's were track wheels, like the Mf10L's. No caps means badass in mugen.

Any track wheel in general won't have a centercap as nearly all forms of motorsport strictly prohibit them. Reason being 9 times out of 10 the center bore ends up heating up so much (brakes... you know race cars actually used those ) that the center cap ends up melting/popping out of the wheel and thus becoming track debris and an endangerment to anyone competing.
