As much respect as I have for everyone in this thread ....
You guys basically bullied a reputable shop into discontinuing a product just because it's a knockoff of a more rare and expensive product.
Are you guys going to stop buying from them because they carry Yawoi SS, NRG, and Omnipower ... because those companies rip off Works Bell, Recaro, and Carbing, J's Racing, and Skunk2 .... just to name a few.
You guys basically bullied a reputable shop into discontinuing a product just because it's a knockoff of a more rare and expensive product.

It's different, Yawoi SS doesn't say CARBING on it. NRG doesn't say WORKS BELL on it. Get it?

at the same time though, it is illegal to sell counterfeit items in the US. havent you even noticed on eBay, it doesnt matter if you state your item is a fake, or a replica, or in a "" style, you cannot post it without risk of getting banned or worse, if the product in question infringes upon the trademarks or products of someone elses.
Honda and Mugen would have every right to sue weaksauce if they wanted to, and weaksauce could not claim they didnt know they were fakes, because they flat out deliberately tried to make money off the mugen trade name with a product that was knowingly counterfeit.
i believe bullying is wrong and I would have let them slide personally, but it still is what it is, and they have every right to do what they did. in the end, it was weaksauce's choice to remove the items. also I dont see how 10 or so enthusiasts can be considered bullying on this forum of over 250,000 users

Not in legal terms it isn't. Selling a fake product that is intended to look identical to the real one (in an effort to trick people into buying something they believe is legit) is in no way legal. Selling a product that looks similar to another product but bears it's own name/logo is not illegal.
These fake mugen parts are in no way different from fake Nikes, and I don't know if you are aware but they have been seriously cracking down on manufacturers and distributors of those shoes in recent months.
