Thanks for looking. As you can see, we did not advertise these as real pedals. They are fake, and we acknowledge that it was a copy of the real thing. We hope this one product does not make you think any less of us. We strive to offer and serve our loyal customers with quality parts and service. Some previous customers of ours mentioned for us to offer these as a more affordable route to our other "on a budget" customers.

Thank you for your input. As you can see, there is no control on what is being replicated and such. It comes down to buyer’s awareness on what they are purchasing. The argument of fake vs. real can go on and on just like any Rota thread. Like we said before, the product we have listed on our site states that these are not the real Mugen pedals.

Collectors and enthusiasts will know the difference between a fake and real Mugen product. As these pedals are a pretty close copy of the real set, we specifically want to notify the customer before any purchase is made that the pedals are a replica.

You shouldn’t let people bring you down verbally about your Genuine Mugen products. In the end, you don’t build your car for other people, you build it for yourself right? One of our representatives here has a set of Mugen MF10L’s and he gets at least one compliment a week on how great his Rota C10’s look. He laughs it off and agrees.

Thank you again for your input on this matter. Again, we are not out to sell fake products as the real deal. It just so happens that ONLY this one product we have bears the Mugen name and is a replica. We can assure you that no other product on our site/store is fake and if so, our customers WILL be NOTIFIED prior to purchase just as this set of pedals are labeled that they are not real and are a REPLICA of the real Mugen product. We hope this does not make you think any less of us as a company. We strive to be honest in all our transactions.

Thank you for your input. Fake products can be found everywhere. From watches, to shoes, to bags and purses, etc. However, the “ethically” right thing to do is to notify the buyer on what they are purchasing. We are not passing these as the real product.

We won’t get into the argument of supporting piracy and whether what is considered right and wrong. Wouldn’t you say getting FREE music and software would be more harm than paying for a set of replica pedals?

We only have one set here. Might just return them to our supplier with a thank-you note. IMO, this post is very honorable thing to do. I applaude you for stepping up and taking a positive action in this situation. Any negative feelings that might have been aroused towards weaksauce with that product certainly have been amended now. Wheteher it was 1 set removed or 100 I believe you have gained a lil respect with that post and action. I would not hesitate to purchase from weaksauce in the future if the situation arose.
