They were selling the whole interior not too long ago for $1200 shipped. I didn't get it cause it was light gray with yellow.. I would have to find a light gray dash and center console also.

I agree it is a very very very good look, actually probably my favorite look on any car in any time period ever. Although I do think I prefer Specs car over FF-Seans... just a few subtle differences but man oh man do I notice them.

Oh don't be sad, Rota will have them out soon!

The Yellow Mugen EG posted earlier is a great look too although the ride height is ridiculous. I've never really been a fan of the side skirts on them though, the rear part looks a bit wrong.

Heres a question i've pondered for long, was the majority of Mugen stuff sold in the US? I have a lot of connections to Japan and its pretty scarce over there in comparison to what you fellas seem to get.

not really
with the recycling laws and all over in Japan they probably have more stuff sitting in the yards then floating around on the streets and in shops. And the since the whole JDM thing is big over here now the US is purchasing what most of the Japanese have forgotten about and bringing it over here.
But I'm sure they still have atleast 80% of most of the Mugen stuff ever made over there.
We just steal it from them every now and then IMHO

I must have the laziest mates then! I got my Mugen Spoiler from Japan, and that was after some months of searching too. I gotta haul my *** over there and do some snooping, my mate runs a wrecking yard here, i guess i'll have to go over with him and take my tools!

haha, my mates got my list at the moment. The thing is he's not blessed with shithouse rat eyes like me, i can spot a Mugen part from a mile away where as it could be staring him right in his face and he'll walk on merrily by.

If i could get the numbers and volume needed i'd think about shipping bulk orders from there, but its too much hassle and the average honda enthusiast here in Australia are tight wads, we haven;t been touched by the "JDM" bug like you lot.

Its when you start getting JDM parts for your Mustangs, you know your fucked.

At least you have that scene, here they still roll like its 1998, with shopping lists and chrome rims... so sad.

About the side skirts I agree 100% I have never been too fond of the actual look of them... I rather prefer OEM.

And to answer your question yes and no... The majority of mugen stuff was originally sold in japan, but most of what was over there has found it's way over here. After speaking w/ a number of people from japan they have informed me that for most older mugen stuff you will have a much better chance of finding it in the US than in Japan, because they sold it all to US peeps long ago.

What else is funny is that they go nuts over USDM **** such as GM stuff, Ford, ect. like a lot of people here do about the JDM stuff. Funny how the world works.

P.S. I almost have my list done for you as well skinny.

OT: Just got the car back on the ground tonight after doing a suspension makeover. I suck at photography so I apologize ahead of time... A few goodies. Better pictures and way more goodies to come.

haha I'll file that under what shall I?

Man If I had a normal honda like a Civic, i'd be rocking an awesome Mugen whip, but alas, i drive the bastard BB lude, so getting even fake mugen for it is impossible lol.

I've spent the last 2 years daily scouring the planet for shreds of evidence of mugen lude stuff on or near any auctions.

Not giving away your sources, but you chaps must import the odd stuff from the JDM motherland, do you pay through the *** on shipping? Reason i ask, is if I was to set up a part location service, I wouldn't want to be sitting on this stuff because the shipping cost more than the damn part. When i bought my spoiler, i had to buy the whole damn bootlid and pay for the shipping of the whole thing. My M7's are costing more to refurbish than it did to ship them and purchase them lol. And don't get me started on finding a genuine stripe kit, EDFC Showa shocks and the sideskirts......

You can file it under, hmmm...

...parts to find American Mugen users?

And you're right, shipping stuff from Japan to here is rediculous... It's not so much the shipping part, but you have to pay a certain fee that I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

yes. I could care less about the shipping costs though. The only thing that gets to me is the waiting period. sometimes my shipments take well over 2 months. and then theres the agony of getting the domestic UPS tracking number once it makes it here. You get to sit there and watch your parts snail their way across the US to the upper midwest. Unless your one of those lucky cali folks who may just be a short drive away from the importer.

They're nice, but I don't. If you look those are track wheels, hence the R comp Hoosiers mounted.
