its actually paint, under the clear coat. was done by the original owner of the wing(which is authentic). the original symbol has been smoothed over and this is painted over top of it. its a dull green from most angles , but you can see that it changes to pink in certain lights. probably not for everyone, but hey...its mine, no one else has it done, and the wing is real soooo im not complaining

 

theres a close up of it, although a shitty close up. everyone thats seen it told me to not have it painted over when i had the car resprayed last week, and i didnt, bc its been on there since i bought the car the first time back in 02.

 

mugen also had that wing without the imprint on the sides

yeah i was like that too when i saw it on their demo car and they had the S1 without the mugen logo haha it look like the F1 on ebay

well to tell you the truth, this is the more likely case, but i was unaware that the wing was ever made without it, so thanks for the heads up . when i bought this car back in 02, it had the wing, 1st gen strut bar(still have it), ecu(sold), header(sold but have bought another recently) and these parts were already 3-4 years old when I bought it.

 

don't think mugen actually sold it without the logo but i know they had some without it, i got a pic of it in one of my mag but cant remember which one

 

kinda hard to tell from the scan but that wing don't have the logo. these catalog show every car and every part mugen made for it

i wish someone made a hood similar to that for the usdm front, or buddy club style

much of Mugen prototype products don't get sold on the shelf because its just a production model. Just like the Mugen prototype S2000

link?? ive been looking around for a couple weeks to see if anyone makes a NICE vented hood for the usdm front. i think that would look awesome once painted.

 

They do make buddy club style carbon fiber hoods for the usdm front. VERY CLEAN

Years ago, I talked to jdmshit and they could get it. Unsure of fitment though.

hmmm. whos "they" and do you have any sort of link?? i checked jdm and all they have listed is their oem style. thankyousirrr

 

Yeah, it wasn't listed so I had to email them. Just ask for the buddy club style hood for usdm front end Integra.

This was about 2-3 years ago though.

As far as original manufacturer, I am sure it was a asian one anyways without brand name. I'll look around google and see what I can come up with.
