No titanium. Just a standard heat sheild, with many man hours sanding and polishing her up. First 3 mile trip to a show and I was met with those funky colours! :D

I guess it's just naturally tarnished like a polished manifold goes. I love it. Anyone got any ideas on what I can put onto polished metal to keep it protected? Bearing in mind the heatsheild gets hot.

The steering wheel is a very rare piece, actually got ahold of it near brand new. It's an SW2 Mugen steering wheel which was available for a small number of Honda's with the horn/cruise control pad. Like the Legend, certain Accords, etc. My lude had cruise, 4WS and SRS. So it was a nightmare to fit and still have everything working. Ended up making a custom harness to wire into the SRS system. Worth it though to have it fully functional as it was intended.

mugen-k: loving your del sol, some blood sweat and tears gone into that build. Need to get those skirts on and find me some wheels to finish the exterior.

thats definitely a nice result for just polishing it. should of figured it was just steel since thats how headers look once they are burnt in. I'd recommend mothers mag polish and touch it up every once in a while, thats what I use on my manifold. But i think its inevitable that it will loose its luster after a while unless you refinish it (sand and polish all over)

Good to see that the wheel works and fully functional...using mugen to its fullest intent
I know I could never use it since I don't have cruise (or anything else for that matter)

Thanks for the compliment and I agree 100% about the sides...I'm working on it but know it will take time/patience. AS far as wheels it should be no problem for you since you're 4X114.3 correct and wheels are cheaper and easier to find in that lug pattern it seems.

oh and in other news...i went to the dealership today to ask about my mirror cover...

they told me its back ordered until 9/28!!! LMAO!!!

maybe I'll just order another color and paint it....

I decided to cleanup off all the spiderwebs & brake dust and put these back on.

And this happen a few weeks back. Truck tire 2 Mugen lip 0. I hit it going about 80mph in almost the same spot I did a few years ago. This is why I will never sell my BNIB backup lip. It's going to my bodyshop guy this weekend.

I don't think wars, but I do feel for dexstar due to the fact he can't find a front lip again if he does it to the next one with ease as I do as of right now for mine.

It sucks when parts are hard to source especially Mugen parts, because they all go up!
