part of me thinks it's sitting in the backyard of one of the body shop guys' house...when i was up there before he told me his buddy and him were building a k20 hatch as well...i'm gonna keep my eye out for sure

yea man...**** is rediculous haha i better not find it on another car or up for sale...not too many of those lips around this way that's for sure.

and on top of that i heard about brice's car earlier in the day and i was at such a loss...that teg was soo clean, it's horrible what has happened

I had something like that happen but not as bad. When I got my bumper painted they took off my mugen plate and throw it away and i had to go find it

 

thats why i made sure to take the emblem and clips off my wing before I dropped it off to the shop for paint...didn't want to have to go trash picking

still was tough leaving it/trusting it with them though

 

Man all these bodyshop horror stories make me that much happier that i can get any work i need done through the guy that does the work for all our race cars

And that mugen plate aint the regular mugen plate thats the straight up 80s gansta plate. When i saw it i was like hmmm dont see that every day

it is weak how some body shop practices are with cars and parts too, that just sucks. I forget how luck I am to have a couple connections in that respect.

I broke one by accident. I was trying remove them to blackout the crome trim. I already have another brand new set. Im just not ready to put them on yet.

Nothing fancy - just a Mugen mirror cover that I bought yesterday.

 

does it fit? I imagine its a fit cover? And what car is it going onto?

 

I'm going to pick mine up from the dealer today...and try it out...hope it works

I think the older mugen mirror covers with out the stickers were made for rear view mirrors that mount to the roof (DC2, DC5, older Fit?)....these look like they are meant for those that mount on the window (new fit, del sol, civics?)

Will post pics/results...worse comes to worse is I'll have to buy a new fit mirror as well
