Always loved C8s on 5th gen coupes. That is almost exactly the way i wanted to build my EJ1 at the time. Looking good man! Curious though, what is above your side markers?

Maybe he's smart because he wants to be closer to King Motorsports. Pretty smart in my opinion.

So a few months back I came out of the gym and snapped a few pics of this car. It's the second time that I've seen it (old lady owner)
I left a note on the window but never heard back. I don't know any info about the car so don't ask...Original USDM 1st gen MUGEN CR-X Si

The aniv. and the Final versions are the same with the double stepped lip whereas these have the old MR-5 lip

that's not a "mugen" crx si. that's a 86-87 DX with cf48 wheels.

Factory fogs with a oem front/rear lip kit (have never seen another one like it)
Pics are bad but I do believe this car had a sunroof. Don't discredit because it doesn't have the MUGEN widebody. The owner is an older lady and I highly doubt that she did any mods to it. They did offer Mugen parts in the usa for these cars in the 1980's. I have been searching for a few months now and have not come across any stock fogs and spoiler kit that looks even close to this.

the reason why i can tell you it's an 86-87 DX and not an Si is because of the headlights being flush while the car has a two-tone paintjob. Also the hatch does not have a rear wiper.

The car is not a mugen because that is not the mugen bodykit. it is an oem optional lip kit that ive seen on two other cars with the foglights. all that was added are the cf48s.

Were they ever sold in the usa with the mugen body kit? I just found a pic from the Honda brochure saying that it was an OEM aero kit...so yes I was wrong but it still looks really good with the cf-48's and the fogs. It's still a rare car and I would love to own it.
