Yea he picked them up from Ebay. I keep questioning if they are real or fake since there was like a very little drop after installing. Then again they all came in individual boxes with Mugen book of instructions on how to install.

 

Dont see anything that says Showa sooooo i dunno how real those are look kinda bootleg

I thought so too but wasnt 100% sure. Now the hard part is how I'm going to tell him about it since I know he wont like to hear that.

 

I don't think anyone would...most would rather keep believing...
specially someone who paid good money for it
if they got a deal on it then they just got overcharged for a fake (but an unusually low price usually means somethings fishy)
but if they paid full price then its a clear rip off

its too bad they are already on the car
but even so, maybe with proof that its not legit then he can get some money back or even get a refund if it comes to that
thats assuming the seller was unaware and even if its not the case, some would deny it anyways and blame it on who they got it from

They dont actually say anything about mugen from the pics just the kanji soooo that should have been the first tip off

Which is the correct color for the real ones but the stickers is the same as your friends....but Im still not sure the real ones at least the newer ones dont say integra shock absorber...just have the kanji and stripes those arent stripes theyre some wierd M thing

 

they have a mugen part number on those civic pieces. the DA ones look like stock with "mugen" stickers on them. hope we are wrong and they are real. but its not looking so good

I agree. A guy local too me wanted to buy those on ebay and I advised him against it. I think these are a very good forgery. I hope we are wrong.

 

those ones on ebay actually have mugen engraved right above the sticker too.

i know what you mean. but it's tough cuz it's the internet afterall and any image that we put up can be jacked by someone else.

 

maybe if he was using it for a dc2 and it was a real mugen and he needed a reference pic but straight up frontin like that isn't cool
