Hmmm maybe jimmy can chime in and share the secret.
For tires...if you talk to any mechanic or track guy, they will all tell you the same thing. Tires are the most import part when it comes to braking. Even "BrakeExpert" on here says the same thing.
I thought of the blue lugs, but I think it will still be too flashy. I was originally going to go with black lugs and keep it simple, but if I could get white ones, that would be top off the look of the MF's
I think that rubber dip would come off, if not it will be hard to clean off, especially with all the brake dust flying around the area and it being white.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
good luck trying to get it out of them
ya it make perfect sense that tires are the most important
wow, if brakexpert that sells brake kits and not tires says that I guess it must be an undeniable truth
black, blue or red would all look fine and not too cluttered imo, but white would be the most subtle and stealth if thats the look you want
have you looked around to see what other people with white MF10s or even MF10Ls run for lugs and how they look and how you like them? thats what I would do to make my decisions even though you seem pretty set on the white, which will definitely be different if anything
(photoshop? thats also what i'd do too)
even tho I wanted white over bronze, one nice thing about them or black or dark colored wheels in general is they don't look as bad when covered in brake dust (almost match bronze lol) and don't bother me as much as light colored wheels like white would or my gold used to
imagine its tough to keep white wheels clean and show dirt so easily, every time you drive, specially if you have performance pads
I know what a pain it is to keep a white car clean, let alone a white car AND/with white wheels

ouch
i know dexstar uses his ao32Rs on mf10Ls for racing
but it also doesn't hurt to get an opinion of how tires are on the street cause thats mainly what I will be using them for, with occasional events
11.8" rotors redrilled to 4X100 and s2k brakes
my dream set up
if you want to get rid of the s2ks when you get J's lmk

If you're driving on the streets most of the time, with "occasional" events, get Falken Azenis. They grip well and last a while. Look into Toyo's competition lineup. Hankook's RS-2 is comparable to the Azenis. If you dont care about road noise get the BFG G-Force which is supposedly better than the Azenis. Price plays a part as well. It doesn't make sense for you to get R compound tires for mostly street driving lol.

If you want grippy street summer tires I would recommend: in this order of grippyness.
Dunlop Direzza star spec Z1
Brigdestone REO1R
Falken Azenis 615
Kumho XS
Take your pick. You can't go wrong with any of them. I would not recommend R comps on the streets for a variety of reasons I could explain if you need me too. Tirerack.com has all but the Azenis. Vulcantire.com is the spot for Azenis.

HAHAHAHAH! You crack me up with your come backs!
Hondizzle!, S2slow, and I went to the mountains the other day and it seemed to me the Direzza's I'm rolling are very comforting through the turns.. I was holding in the turns with both the sti and s2k.. Pretty fun..

I wouldn't recommend anything other than R comps. I have lots of traction problems though. Toyo RA-1s FTW! Lots of you Sallys in this thread could get away with Azenis and crap like that though. They simply don't cut though when you are sub 2000lbs, and over 200whp.

Yeah because you need R comps to use your 200+ whp taking a right turn on the street.

I agree.

I love RA-1's too. Shaved to 4/32's of course.
I hope driving them on the street never comes back to bite you in the butt.

I auto-xed on Azenis 1 time. Overcooked them front and rear. The car was pretty much uncontrollable. It was loose as hell, plus I couldn't get them to hook up at all on the straights.
RA-1s can heat cycle more than most R comps too. Which is a good reason to use them. The Azenis I used were junk after that autocross. I bought some wheels with some junk all season and they hooked just as good if not better. I had the old Azenis on another car I had and it was phenomenal, but was down 100whp or so. I mean if you never want to go past 1/2 throttle then yeah Azenis will work.
