so much hate! lol let us live haha

i think the concept is here and if we dont get locked it will thrive. its been done before ...yahhh... lets make this one diff. one can argue all they want about this and that, performance over looks, w.e, who cares. its not about that. were all buncha people that share the same interest and thoughts and wants for our cars.

it seems like you dont understand what Brice is saying, when it comes to buying parts like mugen and spoon those parts are built for racing, but people can consider those cars "hard parkers" when many of the people who go to meets and have those parts you consider them hard parkers when you dont know what they do with their cars on their own time. The form of racing is function. Those spoon wheels and mugen parts are built to perform

So what your saying is that if I bought a spoon steering wheel, and a body kit from mugen, my car would be fast. No. What I'm saying, you would rather by an exhaust over a radio because it makes your car perform over looking good. I could care less how your stereo sounds, or how good your car looks. If it doesn't perform (i.e. drag, drift, autox, not car shows), it doesn't be long here. This is why I want to do this.

im sorry but i dont understand this. in the OP it says "This is for people who build there cars for performance over looks." your car from what you say is stock...

im not hating on your thread 96EJ6LX, by all mean do what you want, but i think like any group, you need stricter guidelines...

if you want your car to perform better, weight reduction comes into play, so technically wouldnt replacing your stock heavy *** steering wheel, with a light weight steering wheel help in your cars performance...im willing the bet that a mugen kit is engineered for performance as well, so technically those things do help the performance of your car.

This seems to be a big punch in the wind. This is mugen but when it looks like a truck, I don't see how this is aerodynamic (performance). If you wanna be in this, progress the thread, if not unsubscribe.

this is just extremely biased because alot of the parts that you think "make the exterior look good" are also designed for performance

No, I'm not doggin on making your car look good. What I'm saying is, you would by a header over headlights and a "JDM" fender. Or you would by a turbo kit instead of painting your car. Not you would by pistons over a CF hood(when you have OEM) because both are performance related

that kit is not a mugen kit it is clearly from bodykits.etc...lol Yes mugen is proven performance and the kits are also put threw a windtunnel yes a windtunnel to prove its aerodynamics ...I was curious about this thread and so far it seems to be going nowhere..

Well, I would like it to go somewhere but everyone wants to argue and no one wants to even put something useful. If people read the OP before posting, it would get somewhere.

i dont know, imo, i would hope anyone who would take the time and money to make their car fast would still have pride in the looks as well, even people i know who only track their car have clean paint jobs, because they take pride in their ride, i think the people who bitch about it probably just cant afford to do both, thats why they dont

no no no you can't have both here. its only function. no form allowed. The OP can't afford form, so function is all that may be shown.

yes, maybe if instead of painting it you bought a turbo kit or a cool exhaust then you'd be in, but you cant spend money on making your car look nice!!!

Did you think of that all by yourself? I've never heard that before.
