I'm using mks sylvans and mks steel clips with the stock straps, works out fine for me. Planning on getting some dimension doubles soon though.

What kind of pedals? If they're anything decent you should be able to just go to a bearing supplier and get new ones on the cheap.

True. Just get some Sylvans, not my favorite but pretty damn good and the best for the money imo.

Took some pics of the umezawa today . Snapped these quick shots on my way home .

the alpine saddle I talked about a while ago . here you can see the "shocks". They are actually functional, with oil in em ,they dont do much , and the saddle weighs a ton cause of the plastic bottom and all, but it feels good to use.

as in , the shocks actually work , theyre not just theyre as a cosmetic thing. They retract, but just a tiny bit . I guess I meant I wouldn't consider riding a track bike "comfortable" but this is one of the better saddles I've used.

streets in baltimore = bad terrain . If you dont pay close attention to the road, you'll catch yourself in a groove and go down. Not to mention the potholes , and general messed up pavement.

I guess that seat would help out long term.

But riding the IRO bike on the street is a breeze compared to riding my old hardtail mountain bike at the trails in Miami, roooty as a ****.

Only thing that's been stopping me from taking longer rides on my IRO is my saddle, the stock IRO saddle chewed up my gooch , now I have a saddle from my old specialized MTB which starts to really hurt after about 20 miles.

You wouldn't have to worry if you use a Dinotte headlight, too bad they're a good 140 bucks at the least.

I do most of my riding at night, although the roads in Boca Raton are well maintained.

I wouldnt doubt that leader is made at the same taiwan factory as the pista concept or ftp. All made in the same country with almost the same shape.

Duplicolor has alot of really interesting paints out. Nightlites has ground up glass in a clearcoat to make a reflective coating , I might add it to my trispoke if I have time this week and can find it.

and yet each of both frames up until 08 and 09 have stayed nearly 98% identical to the original ones released at the turn of this century.

leader comes out with new "frames" almost every year due to some sort of Quality assurance issue.....

i dont doubt they are made in taiwan, but the R&D behind their company is SERIOUSLY lacking.
