IMO if you don't use it on a regular basis it would probably be useless in an emergency anyway, you'll just panic and flip. I'm not sure there would be a time that a brake would really make a difference, you'd either avoid it w/ or w/out a brake or you wouldn't. A brake isn't going to keep a car from hitting you which is going to be your primary concern.

i was kidding =O) im still gonna get it regardless.
+ w/ a brake in the rare instances i can feel more comfy if someone else uses my bike

it goes without saying its a good thing to have, but it's really your call in the end. I used one for a while when I started riding and it save me a few times. Some of the close calls I've had though, brake or not I would've been [freak]ed.. you can only stop so fast anyway.

Its about feeling comfortable on your bike and being safe so if u want to rock a front brake more power to you

Imo tho when it comes to the brake thing it really depends to be honest, the fact that you ride with a brake probably changes the way you ride , knowing you have it there .. I know going from a front brake to no brake i ride in a complete different mind set then i did when i had a brake. You become way more aware whats going around you cuz you have to be...

like If i had a brake on my bike right now and a car pulled out in front of me i probably wouldnt even touch it, cuz my mind is programed like i dont have it. So my reaction is not grab a brake..

the more you ride brakeless the more comfortable you will be with it and it will change the way you ride completely..

but its whateva

lol i have no problem with people who ride brakes, but being dependent on one is different...esp if it causes the rider to be careless just because they think they can stop "faster"
