bro do you actually build motors or do you just read alot? you dont know what his motor setup is and you're mr "k powaa" dont you know stock k's run itb's all day? maybe k's like itb's because of the large intake valves but it really comes down to how streetable you want your car to be, where you want your power band to be blah blah

you can have the most built motor in the world without cam gears it aint worth ****. Do you build motors? dont you have like an LS thats smoking or something? when did i ever say anything about k's? this applies to all motors not just k's. To be able to make good power on ITBs You would need to run after market cams which need cam gears (which are known shown) , and some sort of port match done to the head unless you want that sweet bottle neck effect to occur. Throwing in ITBs on a stock motor or motor that isnt tuned is like running big *** injectors on a stock duty cycle. Its common sense speedooo you just dont throw ITBs on a motor and "woot 30hp", Thing needs to be tuned and to be able to get power out of ANY ITB setup you need cam gears.
good luck with that lol you'd be better off with a stock itr manifold...look up the thread comparing b16 and itr manifolds...b16 manifold made more power than the itr manifold until 8500~ but died off..itr manifold carried through to like 9500
common man, yee had a stock k with ITBs and a stock type R ecu why the fck would you expect any more from a group of guys that do stuff like that. Its all for the "look cool" effect.
yes i build motors actually. you wanna see a picture of my torquing down arp mainbolts on a ge sleeved ls/v? no i dont have a smokey ls, i have a perfectly fine ls with a loose time belt that bothers me slightly. dont you have a d16y7 stock ek on dr20's? cause i have an eg on works... i never got your car involved w/ the debate so dont bring mine into it. if i showed you what my car looked like after it was stolen vs what it looked like now+how much work i put into it you'd shreek like a little girl...would you like to see my turbo kit for my ls? cause i have one of those too
Well I would also get a port and polish, and some better valve angles... I think the itb setup is way better then an itr manifold. Even if my bottom end isn't built. If I get that setup tuned I think having air running into a straight path into the cylinder is always going to be more effective then a single throttle body and uneven amounts of air going into each port....But thanks for wishing me good luck. Cause even cars out the factory dude come with itb's
