aight for those w/aftermarket headunits, what install kit did yall use? i only find one thats called metro but the little pocket is well just that little and useless.

 

I have no idea what is in my car but I hate it. Doesn't fit for **** and at the track when launching it likes to pop off it's tab and my radio ALMOST comes out.

And I like my wing.

 

Metro,scosche and a few others make kits but I believe you can keep the factory pocket with those kits if you trim it a bit.

I new here joined a few weeks back just thought I would post a few pictures of my EM1. This is what my car looked like in the summer, at the end of the summer I put a Jackson Racing Supercharger on and haven't taken any pictures since. This spring I'm changing my intake ..adding some carbon fiber and changing my wheels.Enjoy.

hey, can i get an invite to this thread??

 

I used the three bolts per side to secure my headunit in the bracket. The DIN storage underneath is still loose. I haven't come up with a good idea yet as to secure it in like it was with the stock headunit.

I tried and tried to get the little tabs in the pocket to attach to the new unit. I'll have to come up with something.

I'm purchasing a new Koni/GC setup soon and will be getting rid of my KYB 4-ways with GC kit if anyone is interested.

 

here she is... all beat up. Last shots before she goes under the knife. Coming up with some new **** for 09. Stay tuned

question for yall im thinking bout getting a carbon hood . but ive always hated how the fitment does not come as close as the oem hood does. from yalls experiences what brand would u recommend for not just fitment but fading issues?
i think this thread needs more engine and interior shots.
