I went out with an old friend of mine and did some pulls in his D15B EF sedan and was definitely feeling the nostalgia. We've been building Hondas for about 10 years now and it still feels soooo good to row through some gears on a nice calm night in the middle of no where.
Also looks like I'll be picking up an LS longblock tomorrow. Another friend is doing a k-swap in his CRX instead of the LS. I've agreed to help him do the dirty work and he is giving me his LS longblock.

You try typing WhiteSlipsWithStickers over and over and over and it gets kinda old .... Plus most people just called me white slips anyways.

lol changing them soon. My buddy gave me a pair of re01r's. I'm probably just gonna get some drag radials for the fronts.
so on the random tip. I was up at my tuner's shop today just getting some video of his gtr that he started making parts for. First thing was a turbo upgrade utilizing the stock frame, but with a different center section and bigger compressor and turbine wheels, obvi still water cooled. Made 717awhp and 630wtq, tells me he's gonna take it for a spin and asks if I want to come. I was like **** yeah Anyways, this thing is probably the most ridiculous things I've ever ridden in. The countless 5-600whp honda's i've ridden in just don't feel the same. Instant spool and traction in low gears, Want to sell mah hatch to build an awd car

First spins and part of second. I'm down on power but it could be the 16s. When i made 233, rolling in second gear it would break the tires loose.

i know exactly how you feel dood.
my friend's Evo X that was only putting out 400whp was already an eye opener for me.
the traction in the rain was rediculous compared to my EG and i have less than half his power. his build is heading towards 700whp thanks to the AMS motor and turbo kit he's getting installed currently.
i don't think i'd ever part/sell my hatch, but it would be nice to have an Evo (or some other 4wd turbo car) for ***** and giggles.

Re: ((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
Well I kinda came to the conclusion that I didn't have sufficient valvetrain for pro2 cams. Even though I was able to make power on the dyno. Something never seemed right when I was at the drag strip when i'm rowing through gears. On the street everything was okay which drove me crazy. I'm figuring I was having some valve spring binding issues.
I didn't want to remove one thing and do it all over as tracks aren't close and that's the only place it happened. I decided to sell the ITB's, had a local guy port a stock manifold, and I threw some pro1 cams in there since I was getting my other head rebuilt. And since it was tuned on itb's, it didn't want to run with a plenum. So I kinda just got a quick tune on low cam so I could drive it and to make sure vtec changed over incase I happen to get there.
Some might think its ridic to tune just to drive it, but I don't pay for tuning. They pretty much would be considered a sponsor, I guess lol. So I get free tuning, random labor on my car, cost on parts, etc. I usually do all the work on it though mechanically because I have too much pride. Sorry for the extra long explanation.

I getcha wat valvetrain were u running? Later on I plan on running itb's or a better intake Mani. I just went with the victor x because it's cheap nd a decent Mani for my setup. Did u daily ur car on the itb's?
