Got my seats in the mail today! Thinking about painting my EG a slightly darker red than the OEM Milano Red when I get it resprayed, just to be a little different without going overboard. Something like IS350 red or some other similar maroon/red color.
I've had a love affair with these seats since I had an Evo IV with the same ones. I think they'll be a little something different than your typical red or solid black Recaros in an EG. They are very clean, but I'll be cleaning them with Woolite anyways, and best thing, they don't smell like cigarette smoke. FYI I'm a big sissy when it comes to the smell of cigarette smoke, I hate it, so I'm glad these came from a non-smoking Evo owner.
Less than $200 for the pair.
Thinking about putting one on my PC race simulator (behind the seats in the picture) just for now since the game seat that came with it is kinda crappy.

I'd love to get a set of concave face 15x8 TE37s in white, but I know what you mean about them being a little overdone. Since Spun, Rota, and Volk all make the same wheel design you see that basic look all over the place now....

My fav designs of all time are the Work Nezart and the RH CP035. Wish Rota still had the subzero available... I'd rock it for sure.

Havn't heard anything from the police... its gone. Didn't have insurance so its a total loss, didn't really think it was worth having full coverage on it and I never thought it would get stolen. Live and learn I guess. The CRZ is nice, and new but its not my eg.

Damn.... Even with full coverage you pretty much get fucked unless you can argue with them long enough to come to a reasonable figure.

Thanks EGezzy, and Slips that is true. The price I paid on the paintjob would have been what the insurance company would have gave me anyway so I just didn't think it was worth it. I will just move on unless I find a nice EG for a reasonable price but that is probably unlikely given where I live.

Damn, even im excited seeing your car like that. I know how motivating it is looking at it when its a shell, such a good opportunity to fix all the little things that bother you. Looking forward to the result!

after replacing (n upgrading) my faulty gearbox and upgrading the clutch+flywheel at the same time... found out me had a leaky tein... at the workshop after getting it fixed a couple of weeks ago
Banshee getting the Meguiar's treatment...thankfully it was good enough to get 3 months worth of crap, stains, tree sap, dust etc out..
the left side initially looked like it had chicken pox or measles with red dots all over (cant be seen in this pic)..washing n claying didnt get rid of it...thankfully the polishing did.
