((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
So its been almost a year since I have taken my hatch out to drive it, been starting it etc. regularly though.
Changed the fluids and did some regular maintenance on it today and took it out for a drive. Got on it really hard in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and saw a bunch of smoke in the rear view mirror......I was like WTF is wrong with my car?? it took me like 10 minutes to realize it was from the tires haha
Definatly been driving my CR-V waaaaay to much

man i would love to get me some 15x8s......but the only 15x8 i can find in this country is a +20 offset...and i dont intend to run too much camber or do the whole stance thingy since the reason i bought the car was to join track days...
Well it will either go 2 ways. I would like to buy a lot of brand new parts from Honda to basically restore the car to an oem+ state with a new paint job. Maybe go 5 lug, ditch my current motor setup for a stock ITR setup. Just something classy, reliable and fun........or the car will get sold lol
Im still on the fence about it. We are currently in SC trying to move back to WA in a year or so. Im just going to drive the hell out of the car while im here and enjoy it. When we move back to WA and buy a house we will see how I feel.
The only reason im considering selling is because I want either an S2K or an NSX. My wife says I can keep the hatch and have one of those cars but I just dont know how much it would ever get driven.
Hey everyone, havent posted in here for a long time looks like everyone's eg's are coming along nice. Ive been working on my car quite a bit lately the Gsr is no longer in it had some bad luck with the "Timing Belt" lol had the valve cover off and like a idiot i put the bolts on the shock tower and my pop's had to get his car out of the drive way so he pushed my car out of the way and one of the valve cover bolts/nuts fell in the lower timing chain cover so when i put the valve cover on i saw i was missing one and thought maybe it fell out in the road when they pushed my car out of the way and i couldnt find it so i went and bought another one put the valve cover on started the car was running good like normal went to take off to wash the car and the car died i didnt bother trying to start it cus i had a feeling it had something to do with the belt opened the hood and saw it was ripped and found my valve cover broken with a with a valve cover nut still jammed in it
rookie mistake to leave bolts/nuts on the shock towers lol so pulled the head off and of course bent valves. lol sold the motor and im currently in the process of building a all motor b20v.

here's a pic of how it sits (No wheels arent cpr's and no i didnt put the stickers on them lol) next month it should be running with the new motor
Sucks about your motor. I would be so many kinds of pissed if that even happened to my little stock D15B7..... Glad you are getting it back on the road again soon though. Good luck with the new motor.
Thanks, yea you live and learn lol hopefully all turns out well with the new motor, hopefully itll be making around 215-225whp im just waiting on the wiseco's to get here so i can send the block to the machine shop to get bored and honed.
Yea, I love the color. What's the build on your b20v? Staying stock sleeves?
Also, does anyone know where I can get duplicate decals for some racing sparco wheels?

There is an exhaust I see a lot of hondas running that pokes out quite a bit after the muffler, you can see if past the bumper from a profile view and everything. I wanna know what it is because mine is ugly! lol, if I could figure out how to take a picture off of another thread and post it here I would, but its on a light blue hatch with white te37s on page 13 of ddumpedhhatches thread.

gonna tune it on s300
still not sure on what header to run but thats all im missing is the header. gonna wait to order after the machine work is done.
later on after the car is all setup (suspension/brakes) i got a wet kit that ima run and put 50 shot on top of it and tune it for nitrous
nahh not a fan of H's too much, rather have a b series, i could of bought a h2b swap out of a eg for 1500 but rather spend more and have a fresh rebuilt b series that i know whats been done to it then buynsomeone elses 100k + mile motor that they've beat up on. just my opinion
this is just a quick little build im throwing together not trying to build the fastest all motor car out there obviously with a mild setup, just building a fun little street car/ weekend warrior. if i were trying to go all out on a all motor setup i probably wouldnt wanna stay b series and go K but not a baller yet so gotta stick with the B and work with what i got haha i used to daily it with the gsr and still planning on DD it with the b20 so i cant go with a too crazy of a setup. theres no E85 over here where im at so i cant go with a high comp 13:1 motor and make the power id like to haha for now what i got will work and im pretty sure any 200+whp N/a b series is pretty respectable
i work almost everyday usually 16hrs so no time for the car
**** no time 2 spend $ haha im a go with a built B series so i can track her

thanx man white eg are so simple and clean
im a get my bronze side windows installed 2day
