I posted it on "post pic of the lastest purchase pt 2" check it out. I just posted a pic of it and i get a stupid remark of being rice when its a OEM product how can that be considered rice?

But how can a OEM be rice? Thats what gets to me, i understand if i replaced the face but i didnt.

 

i'm guessing they were thinking it was considered 'rice' since they are white faced guages --- you guys remember those indiglo/whiteface guages from the early 2000's? hahaha, maybe that's what they were referring to

I wanted some AC Autotechnic reverse indiglo gauges so bad when I had my first hatch haha. I honestly still like the way they look.

 

i'll admit, i thought it was cool when i first saw them in a friends car.

he had a newer version which you could change the color from green to blue with a slider switch

man, these things used cost more than a JDM cluster these days!

There's nothing rice about an OEM EG6 cluster lol.

heres mine had the bumper off since i blew the differntal on my transmission over the week-end and replaced it following did and didnt bother putting the bumper back on since i wanted to get my window washer fluid resvior back in and i needa get my buddys heat gun this weekend to make it fit in there

I don't know if I told you guys this or not already, a guy offered to buy my car while driving alongside of me in his '99-03? Mustang GT with his wife and little daughter. He said he had just been to Arkansas to almost buy a DXwith 120k on it but it didn't work out, so he saw mine and was desperate. He said he had a whole lot of 100s. But I declined.

1. He said he had lots of hundreds, to make a couple of thousand sound like a lot.
2. If he went to buy a DX, mint even, it wouldn't be enough to buy my Si.
3. He caught me while driving, and my car is fun to drive.
