Anyone have a extra set of inner fenders laying around?

I threw mine away in like 2001.

 

My bumper fits super tight on the driver's side, but the passenger side I think needs to be tightened up a bit.

Having all OEM bumper, fenders, headlights, corners, and bonnet helps

For fender to bumper, remove the plastic tab and screw and replace with 10mm bolts (use the bolts from the top of your fenders if you have replaced them with something cleaner), appropriate washers and a nut.

 

^Perfect. The lip fitment is super hard to get right though. :/

 

Yeah. Aftermarket hardware is a must.

Thank you sir . it really not that perfect, gonna do a repaint this winter hopefully. I drive the car almost everyday,and its my only car. so it takes a beatin. I wish my front end lined up like the yellow sir eg. i have all Oem front end parts on my car too. not sure if it the Seibon hood throwing it off. going to get a new bumper and bys lip soon. so its should look a lil different in a few months.

I had that gap also. I thought it was normal.

 

Its primer thats been cleared.

The gap between the bumper and quarter panel has since been fixed... used the same method as the front.

All the hatches I've ever seen in person have this gap. It drove me crazy that you could see in there, so I put new OEM bolts on the bumper and cleaned that area up really good.

I'm pretty sure the gap has to be that big because of how the tail gait swings down to open.


You sure you're not thinking of the last issue? Brad's hatch was in the ITRexpo story for the October 2011 issue. The new/final issue of this year is Dec/Jan 2012 and I can't find his car in there.
