Got the wheels in a steal, and didn't have a tuner I could trust around here up until a couple weeks ago.

Cars getting tuned as soon as a get the cash and I already have a dyno to use for free when I need it now

Sure he could use a fc but he could get a better tune with hondata, neptune, or even crome

 

Take look look at some graphs from cars tuned on apexi, hondata, aem, etc.

I'm no pro at tuning but from what I've seen you can get more out of some versus others and some come with different features others dont

Il look into it ,before I tune .Im leaning towards the fc cause Im on a budget.The AEM ecu is pretty hardcore for its value..But I trust Japan when it comes to anything that has to do with honda ,everything on my car is japanese.Anyway I apreciate the advice I guess im gonna leave the exterior interior for later .THANKS

 

the Spoon mirrors (and Reps) are probably the nicer mirrors out there IMO thats what im probably gonna put on mine later on.

 

I has some carbon fiber spoon mirrors but they need new glass and a clearcoat

 

Make sure you mod them before you put them on.

Aka... drill new holes in the base plate.

If not, you won't be seeing anything out of them.

 

I'm smart *** in person too, not just over the interwebz. I'm not a complete *** wipe either, but I appreciate the back forth.

Just got the rest of the money together to get my Integra brake booster. I'll hopefully be putting my rear disks on this month. After that, pulling the head and replacing the valve seals finally.

 

So you looked at the most expensive and least expensive tuning capabilities. You can't argue with numbers, I dare you to open a pole on this forum and list Chrome, Neptune, Uberdata, Hondata (s100/200/300+KPro) and the fc. I guarantee you'll get less than 5% on the fc. There's a reason why nobody uses it. Not to mention you're riding the japan bandwagon and your car was made in Canada.

 

Spoon mirrors were developed for RHD cars, so we get the shaft.

The bottom bolt of the mirror stays stationary and you drill the holes higher up on the base for the other two bolts to make the mirrors sit higher.

You know the power fc is a full ems right? With a good tuner results will be similar. But at the end of the day, should go with what your tuner is most comfortable with. Makes yours and his life much easier.

 

Bro first of all my car was not made in canada ,Im not even from america bro .In my country all cars distrubuted here are either from the Uk or Japan..So slow down speedo ,and on this side of the world if there was a pole vote ,half of those ecus wouldnt even be mentioned most people here use Apexi FC -Hks F-con Pro and once in a while you hear someone with an AEM...In my opionion the ultimate ecu is the HKS F-con pro gold.

 

Slowegg made the best point here.Go with what the tuner is most comfortable.The majority here tune FC's and F-cons.I dont doubt the potential on the hondata,chrome etc...But you cant go out there and say the FC is garbage...Half of major Japanese tuners use FC's ,Its not a coincidence ....

I temporarily traded my friend and I must say the NR's are looking mighty proper! I'm not a fan of the 15x6.5 tho because the face sits alittle further than the actual lip. Looks goofy.

All this fussing is useless, I feel like this is a oppinion and personal preference based topic. Most of us stick to what we know and will always favor it. But whatever you decide to run, I'm sure it will work out.
