Gosh thats pathetic. So RI guys just drive around looking for people to race?
That's why I stay clear from that. Not trying to watch cars get crashed into or people get hurt/go to jail. It surprises me that people still openly street race.

I raced a Geo Metro on the highway the other night and got walked on. We started from a 40 roll and he had a few car lengths on me by the time we got up to 70. It was intense.
I'll admit I did my fair share of racing when I first graduated high school, but I look back on it and wonder how I'm still alive and never went to jail.... 120 in a 50MPH zone on a service road right next to a busy highway was a weekly occurrence for a few years and I never got pulled over or hurt. Tore up some parts, but other than that I was pretty lucky. Now that I have a wife, house, awesome dog, good friends and a lot more to lose I think twice about even riding in a car that is racing or going well over the speed limit. Just doesn't seem worth it for a short rush that could leave me dead on the side of the road. For most people with age comes responsibility and street racing just isn't a responsible thing to do....

i wouldnt say im a die hard street racer. i rarely race people here mostly because my car is stock and slow lol and i dont wanna hurt myself or the car but i will admit ive had those moments when u think to urself "can i beat him??" but i guess its cus im still young and dumb and barely out of high school.. after seeing some of the previous vids^^^ its crazy how theres people parked on the side of the road and you guys are in town doing it lol out here its mostly open country roads which doesnt make the situation any better but im sure its a lot more dangerous doing it in the city with cars parked on the side of the road lol

It wasn't like that at all. I'm the last person you'll see driving round redlight racing.
don't really know what being from RI has to do with it either, the retard that crashed into my buddys car was from MASS
This is the first my car has been in a street race in a LONG time and it was to shut people up. I didn't even drive the car for the reasons yous are talking about, no need to lecture. We know street racing is illegal and can have horrible consequences, but there is also a difference between a bunch of retards running one after the other in a cluster**** or in traffic and two guys on a dead blocked off street in the middle of the night.

lol
some peoples kids..here in town on fridays and saturdays everyone meets up at albertsons one day there was a kid in a auto accord he was trying to get it too burnout by neutral dropping it or he would try by going in reverse then slamming it into drive the car didnt really do anything so he went around the parking lot real fast and tried to "drift" it around this cement little island in the parking lot with the e brake but the car just dragged 1 back tire nd the car kept going straight so then he locked up the front brakes and tried to turn (smart guy) and under steered into the cement wall. after everyone laughed at him he got out and looked like he was about to cry but its like dude wtf did u expect u moron. theres always the dumb fast and furious/ Tokyo drift crowd that try doing stunts that kills it for everyone else. we are no longer allowed to hang out at albertsons anymore. so had to move the kick it spot to auto zone lol all cus of some *** faces.
I enjoy driving fast here and there, but I'll never street race again. I love my wife and daughters too much for that.
I have, however, found a new feed for my adrenaline addiction that's paint ball. Just got started and it's an amazing rush for me.

Once I get my brake setup done and get the valve seals in my motor I plan on doing Auto-X once a month and I figure that will be enough for me to get my adrenaline fix for a while. That way if I wreck I won't be going fast and in an empty parking lot it's a tad difficult to smash in to anything that would be life threatening.... Unless of course you are Gabe Bauman and there is a random truck parked at the end of a hard braking zone.

haha
