Anyone got custom door panels?
I've thought of switching mines up.
Combo is pretty nice and matches my blue interior well but it's boring. IDK.

latest edition to muh hatch... Recaro Type R SR3 from 2000spec EK9.

came with these rails which my friend (the seller) said are Spoon low down rails...though there are no visible markings to indicate theyre of any brand. but theyre definitely top notch... the paint itself is pretty hard to scratch even with a self tappig screw. and they sit significantly lower than the seats with EK9 stock rails (which is ridiculously high) and theyre now even lower than the stock EG6 seats.

even with the 2 finger gap front and rear on my car im still scraping my exhaust on speed bumps..

and heres the reason.. my exhaust cut out... yes, thats a throttle body

and a shot of my blue-ish engine bay

Eh, I'm too old to remember.
yeah, you'd def want someone in the car if you were corner balancing lol. What all did you remove? I had the plastics still in the car just minus the rear seats. All of my a/c and heater **** is gone, no washer reservoir, no bumper beams. And it was a vx to begin with.
just thought that i would post up a few pics of the progress of my hatch....
a few days after i got it: stock single cam and some shitty as paint 2000 era haha

rocked it like that for a few years, went through 3 single cams 1 boosted with a fmu (so old school!)
then swapped a gsr then an ls/vtec and some paint and carbon

decided to boost it. plans were to have a nice daily, but when i started to build the manifold i told
myself go big or go home....
it now has a b16 bottom end and a gsr head with a snailhouse projects turbo kit and fuel surge system

here is a vid of my first 10 sec pass

thanks man, its currently getting more head work done and i think i'm going to make a top mount for it and a PTE 6765 with water meth injection....i miss driving it on the street! haha
I added larger brakes (4x11.3 discs front and rear) and added power windows/locks. Seats were lighter Spoon reclineables, seatbelts with heavy retractors were swapped out for harnesses and JDM glass was used all around except the windshield (yes, it's supposed to be lighter). The factory sunroof stayed in place with motors and all that. Mirrors swapped out for Spoon/Vision carbon fiber ones.
I'm surprised it was as light as it was.
Your exhaust is upside down. Thats probably why your scraping it so bad with a 2 finger gap. The hangers should be on the bottom of the pipe so your pipe is tucked up in the exhaust tunnel more.
