Thanks man, I'm good, but haven't seen my hatch in over 2 months. I can't wait to get back to KS and drive it. I've been driving a '10 Corolla around CA and it really, really sucks. Such a waste of money to buy one of those, sorry to those of you who have, but wow what a numb, gutless, plasticy, boring, ugly piece of crap. And I get better gas mileage in my Civic that has 42 more horsepower and with me hitting vtec everyday! I'm so glad I have an EG, so simple and great.

 

Vx nd Cx are pretty much the exact same just vx is Vtec economy and cx is non vtec, both weigh the same though, my car is a vx weighs 2080

The 92-93 CX's weigh the same as the VX model at 2094 lbs. Then the 94-95 CX's started weighing 2108 lbs, while the VX always remained 2094 lbs. Anyone know why it gained weight? BTW I am a proud owner of a VX hatch

 

Dizzam, I guess I was wrong at 2092. lol. I haz vx too! It appears as though I need to find a 88-89 crx hf to be pimpin at 18xx lbs

 

guess so "the scale never lies" haha probably because my center console is missing and passenger seat is missing 2 bolts haha

the only thing i can think of is more features might have been added to the CX's after?

i do know that the '94-95 civic's here in canada had a secondary airbag standard. so maybe that added to the weight?

 

My EG is/was an Si and even with the ITR 4 lug, B16 swap and blah blah blah it weighed 2195lbs. I kept the sunroof, the heat, all sheet metal body parts (no carbon hood) and even added power windows.

wonder if those are with a full tank of gas? my car now which is basically fully stripped weighs 2060 without driver and a half tank of gas. ~50lbs lost..ouch man.

 

No, that was just the car.

There are a lot of ways to get creative in losing weight. Stripping it of non-essentials is only step 1.

A lot of people with eg's change the steering wheel to one without an air back so what does it matter if u dont have side air bags lol

Oh okay then lol. The car without me would be in the 1900 range since I'm 200+. When I get the car back up again ill weigh it on my tuners scales since I'm going to corner balance it.

 

 

What do you guys think about this color? I think it is nice but not to noticeable like blue or red so i can still drive fast but not noticed as much lol.

Ya but the cops around me seem to be not that "negotiable" to say the least lol. I hate all of the stupid rules in cali though. I have checked other places and a lot of stuff thats illegal here is legal in a lot of other places lol. But I was thinking of that grayish color or a blue but can not decide but then again i have not boughten the car yet lol so I have time but I have defiantly decided to get a eg si unless I find a great deal on an cx, dx, vx.
