Well, my Si will be registered and insured again shortly so I can drive it around and start getting quotes on the body work.
Can anyone with body experience give me an idea on what I should expect to pay for this level of repair?
Rust along the back of the hatch. It goes through to the inside.

Large dent on the passenger rear quarter

I should just post this up in the paint/body section but with so many skilled people and those doing restorations just like this one, figured I'd start here.
Thanks,
Steve

Well, they're going to have to spray some of the interior, around the hatch area. But I wasn't planning on doing a full "baller status" repaint. Just engine bay, outside and jambs.

There are lots of factors involved when figuring estimates on body work. I'd just drive it around and get a bunch of body shops to throw you some ballpark quotes with the car right in front of them.

damn steve, that rust made me cringe. it sucks that our cars are getting old enough now that serious rust is becoming a issue, its getting hard to find a eg hatch without some significant rust on it somewhere.....
I am having no problems finding rust-free examples. I've never wanted a car as new as an EG bad enough to drag it home with rust. But then again, I buy cars from AZ, CA, TX, FL - GA for the most part. Now my older stuff (Datsun 510 - 77 Civic Hatch, etc) are so hard to get that you have to pull the trigger even if there is some rust. Guys up north though have a tough time with it.
As always I can appreciate the effort... I really can. But DO NOT WANT!!!!
