I would imagine the fabric store, its pretty easy to make your own door inserts with some fabric and spray glue. His look paisley patterned or some thing

You can get away with 16's but it's tricky. I've gotten mine to fit under TE37's, Regamasters and SSR Type V's. They for sure don't clear my GABs.

newest update: decided to sell my '98 spec ITR tranny and swapped in a 'better' one

 

That depends on what knuckle and bracket you're using. Mine was designed for the DX small spindle which I'm using but then I changed to the 4x114.3 hub which pushed the face outward slightly. This meant I had to use a different rotor with a taller hat, mill the bracket to accommodate the new proportions, and space the caliper out slightly to clear the larger diameter of the hat. It was a trial-and-error pain in the ***.
