That's all that matters man. If you like it, who cares what others have to say. I personally like everything about your car minus the red calipers. The headlights and corners being tinted looks really nice.

 

Yeah i agree on the calipers , im going to change the color on these.

These are the OEM Headlight protectors i tinted a bit. I know they look a bit too dark in photos but they are only smoked a bit.

 

I like the blue coilovers on the red car with the white rims and the silver LCAs

i installed my suspension over the weekend as well...car is too low now gotta figure out a way to raise the rear up somehow...

 

Finally got into the garage this weekend and did some work on the car. I pulled out most of the interior in preparation for the body work needed. Then it's off to a buddy of mine to get the paint and body work done.

Here's where I'm at:




















My goal is to get all the misc parts off and categorized so that I can get the body work done. I want to get this done in the next few weeks. Once the body work is done and the outside is painted then I'll go ahead and start working on the motor again. I need to keep the car in a running stance (with the D) in case of any reason. I hate having a rolling shell only and there's nothing wrong with the D.

I was planning on doing a dark gray metallic, but I think I'll just do an OEM white for now. I'll save a few bucks by not doing a color change and if I want to change it down the road, I'll do it then.

They are actually purple, but thanks. I'm still rockin the same Omni Gen 1 LCAs that I've had for almost four years now, couldn't be happier. You coming down to OKC for IFO on Sunday?


It is actually about 3/4" higher than it was before. Is that as high as the rear coilovers will go on yours? Mine sat exactly like that with all four coilovers all the way down and I just raised the rear about an inch and it was perfect.


I thought this was a pretty cool picture. My buddy and I built our cars almost identical without even knowing it and a year later we both met up again and we had pretty much built the same car minus wheel color and motors.

 

i'm not sure if they can as the shock is very short stroke. i'm going to try it later, but to my understanding, i may only be increasing spring preload...from the looks of the shock body thread, i can probably slam it down to tuck half my spoke

 

I'm a little color blind I wish man, I'm going to KC to watch the UFC fights with a friend of mine, but honestly I'd rather be at IFO.

Used some Armor all on the tires and did a little shoot with the D700. Came out pretty darn good IMO!

If you lived near by I would bring my porter cable over and make that car look so good. You should invest in one and have at it, they are only like $100 if I rember right but make a bigger impact than any visual mod you will make for that car.
