Actually they are from honda/ IT is honda optional FACTORY CRX foglights. and i will get sum daytimes pic later on today.

too some point, i do have to agree with duffman. I have read the thread and it seems like inorder to be "in" you have to be "in" the crew. I personally thought this while I was reading and then i figured something out. If i wanted to be accepted, I would of tried harder to be accepted. I could care less now because thats just the conclusion i came too. I DO want to make more friends with the same interests I do but I don't want to have to try to be accepted into anything. F@ck that. I'm not trying to argue with anyone on the point of the matter but I'm trying to keep this thread on topic so i can see some more pictures of ef's.

Ya I totally understand where your coming Like I said its a work in progress all thats been completeted is the motor set up. The body and paint is next when that gets done I will Post some more pics for you it should be complete in the middle of febuary or so. But I am not affeliated with Duffman or anyone I was just intrested in Join'n the original EF Squad.. When its Finished It will Be all one Color. Thank you for your coments and advise

This isn't the original EF Squad.

 

In regards to my driving my car "every day", the fact of the matter is that I normally drive my Mazda, which I don't have to worry about and is always just sitting out on the street, ready to go.

<U>My hatch is perfectly reliable!! </U> I've got a BAR legal B18c in it. It's got AC, power windows, and a reasonable ride height.

While my dad was out visiting, he borrowed the Mazda, and I drove the Honda every day.

I think the reason that you don't see many "old" people in 16 year old cars is that they don't want to spend the money or time to maintain it in good condition. <U>I enjoy building cars</U>, and as such it's been well worth it to me.

The only "issue" I've got, is that at 16 years old, Honda want's to dis-own the cars and drop the availabliity of parts. My last project car was a 64 Chevelle and it was a lot easier to get parts!! If you do the math, that's better than 40 years old.

Because if you look at some of the pictures of the current sQaud members not all of them are "in" then so-called "in" group as far as parts go. Like I said its about presentation.
My views do not repersent the majority of the sQaud so whatever I say is from me. If they happen to agree then, eh.
The sQaud was recreated to bring back what was lacking. We are here to share information amongst one another, ***** pictures, and meet up within our purspective areas. To a certain extent you do have to be "accepted" to be in the sQaud if they have guidelines and rules. Which is why they were established.
If you have a work in progress, like most of us do, then state that while posting pictures so we know you plan on doing more. Once its complete then let us know and you'll gladly be "in".



like I said this is not a "c00l sQaud" or Friend buddy buddy sQaud because most of us will never have a chance to hang out or no each other on a personal level. So with that said the only thing we can base the sQaud acceptence on is the view of your car. And with that said I say it again...Its all about presentation.

If you really wanna be in a c00l sQaud please visit the HPK in my Sig. We don't care what your car looks like in the Krew but as far as this one we want to have standards. If you want to bicker about why you didn't get in then PM whomever it is. But don't bicker in the thread because the rules have been stated on the first page.

If we happen to miss your car or statements about your car then requote it or PM whomever is online that is part of the sQaud so one of us can bring it up

with that said, please stop bickering in the thread

too many politics, thats why squads are overrated now, too many ppl trying to weed out those who dont meet "Standards" if it was about sharing information and sharing the passion/hobby of being an enthusiast, then it wouldnt matter who u let in or not...but im gonna stop there before someone starts having a nervous breakdown and starts with the "oh well u dont even drive an EF anymore"

ok what i would have to say would be way to much to type and i type slow so heres some of it.

the numbers in the squad mean nothing cause look, my car is not really that tight thru my eyes, its in pieces in my garage as we speak trying to make it a little bit better. i started off with a stock hatch and modded it step by step, not attempt a whole build up that i couldn't afford. started with the basics, drop, lip and wheels. couple runs thru the junk yard every now and then. picked up some more ****. then got a new front fogs and some paint. then more wheels and random other pieces that i picked up along the way, gauges, steering wheel, tow hook etc. if you look at my car would you believe i invested less than 400 bux? that doesn't include trading of parts but i think im coming along pretty nicely. the reason why im member 001, i dunno right place at the right time i guess. butas far as puting other members on i listen to the rest of the squad too, watch thier reactions and what they say about the car. i send a couple of pm's and if the numbers add up then, bam, they're on the squad. but if you really have nothing to set your car apart from the others, i will suggest some stuff. and if i think you are really close to being on the squad i will make some reasy requests to further help them get in. for example greenEFSI, he's driving up here and im gonna take some pix of his car because he doesnt have a camera. yea i seen his car nicely put together if you ask me, but looking at the pic ha posted its like looking at a whole nother car. as vega stated earlyer, its all in the presentation, that includes pix too. i mean hen i talked to JapSlut on here and on SoCalCivic, he seemed like a cool guy, i really want him on the squad but all i ask is to finish it one color. cause if i put you on with multiple color body parts some one is gonna come up in here like "japslut doesn't have paint either and you let him in" then sparks another 5 pages of arguing and redefining the squad. (this next part has nothing to do with japslut this is for everybody) plans are good to list but most of the time its what you have done to your car right now when you are applying. its like going to a job interview like "yea i wanna be a doctor, i havent gone to school for it but i should still get the job because i plan on going to school for it." so actions speak louder than words. and i understand duff's situation, there is always gonna be a time where you move on, some's comes sooner than others. yea i remember the OG EF squad, i wanted to be on it but there was no way to find whats up with it and i was so close to making this one like the old one but i didn't, we just implicated standards that aren't by location. so to duff for moving on because that at times is harder than sticking to the same old same old, but cause i wanted him in this squad to represent with us cause he was known for his hatch. and as far as everything else goes im pretty sure we can all drop it, there should be nothing to get excited over. i really wanna use this squad to help people improve thier "EF's" not to make people feel bad about thier EF's.
