honestly i dont see why it would be different as long as it's mpfi. all the 4wd stuff is engaged via trans & vicious coupler. ac & power steering have there own harness just like the others. engine wise everything is identical

The application you mentioned that hooks around and under the edge of the door jam, and just inside of the weather stripping; is another perfect way to mount load bars to a civic wagon.

Oh, mine are definitely bolted down, I was just pointing out that the Yak or Thule setup is, as you say, plenty strong. It's also far less labor intensive and far more expensive fwiw.

Dom, NO, you can't just use a stock mpfi engine harness in a dpfi car. Won't work. Now, if you're talking about changing the whole dash harness, too, then maaaaybe. But why?

The one in the enine bayis the same as a year specific 88-89 , 90-91 Hatch or CRX as far asI know. Used one off a 90 Hatch for a Rex a while back . Before I put it in I compared it with a Wagon one I had laying around , the same deal as far as plugs and connectors . Hope that helps , if I get a chance I'll check the manuals (Wagon & Hatch ) .

haha i'm not that dumb.I dont have a single wire in my whole car right now and the harness is not gonna be used on the stock single cam. It's for my b series swap. My stock harness was burnt since i first got the car, so instead of gettin another dpfi harness and having to splice that stuff for the MPFI B series, i'm replacing the stock firewall and engine harness for the RT4wd one which is DPFI. I know that the stock MPFI injectors from the RT harness will not fit, so i'm just splicing those with my b series ones. I was just wondering if any connectors or wiring would be a problem. But thanks for the help man.

haha NOOOOOO. its not for an rt! It for a WAGOVAN w/ a b series swap. the wiring harness is from an rt cuz rt's are MPFI just like the b series. So if i use the mpfi which comes on rt's and not the 2wd wags i wont have to do much of any splicing.

i have a problem with my b20vtec
my dizzy poped out and the two little horns bent
so what my friend did was change it out and i was able to bring the car back
i drove it but it would take forever to bulid up speed
he said it might be my cap and rotor so i did a tune where i bought spark plug annd spark plug wires
tried to turn on the car then a misfire caused my muffler box to completely explode
any possibilities?
friend says its the dizzy.

erik bought new cap, rotor, spark plug, and wires..my cousins and i was just standing at my garage and BOOM, sounds like a C4 bomb and **** cause it shook my neighborhood and house..his box muffler completely tore apart. i will try to get a friend to come over so i can use his dizzy to troubleshoot this problem.

thats some crazy ****. almost looks like something was blocking the flow & it exploded. has erik ran it since the muffler blew? something clogged in there will give it less back pressure & loss of power.
