Woot, might have found a place to make my harness bar!!

I sent them your pics SOL Food, hopefully thats cool. They are worried about making any bar for a harness if anything happens to me tho..

So hopefully they can do it, and for a decent price :-)

http://www.delsolownersclub.com now at least has something to show on it...

I'm just impressed that I was able to login and create a simple file using my sidekick.

I have Tokico blues also, and my car doesn't look like yours.

Your rims look like they are an incorrect offset also... I dunno, your car just looks all sorts of tall.

Ownage. Here's a picture of doing 5 mph down a Colorado mountain on my way to Vegas Invasion last year. That is Tristan in his 92 RHD SiR in front of me.

Here is the aftermath.

Good stuff John.

The reason WE (I like to think of us as a collective) started the Club was essentially to organise ourselves. We are a minority in any car culture in general and even within the Honda community. For those of us who wish to continue holding the flame for the del Sol and our love for it, we need a place to come together. Slowly but surely it will come together.

The downside, (and I feel the ONLY downside) I can see, is that having our own club, we may spend less time on here, and I feel over time (well, that I've been here) we've become more accepted on Honda Tech, and not so much critisied or given crap to as Del Sol owners.

Not that I give a crap what hondatech thinks of me or the cars I own (yes James, incl you too ), but as time goes on things have gotten better here for us, and more civic/integra owners are taking a liking (and even buying) The Black Sheep So I just hope you lot still post here and make your presence known

New Site's gonna be awesome!

Who said we're leaving H-T? There are no plans for a forum as of yet for our site. We started on H-T and I believe that we are welcome here. Our site will provide many purposes that will only benefit us as owners and enthusiasts.

Since I'm off to bed, anyone who has futher questions concerning the del Sol Owners Club / Sol Squad, feel free to PM me. I'll get back to you asap.

My idea for the dsoc website is very similar to a forum in structure, but not in operation.

I say this because information in any form needs to be stored categorically. Obviously the best way to do this on a website is to separate your content from your code and your code from your style. Most online forums to a good job of this, and I think you all will be pleasantly surprised how it is implimented.

Also because the dsoc is a community in and of itself, I feel it will be important to allow submissions for technical articles from the owners, and allow the administrators a way to moderate and catalog information without needing major code changes by me. Again, a forum type structure inherently allows for this type of control.

What we'd like to avoid is what happens inevitably at every public forum; large amounts of newbians and spammers clustering things and ruining an otherwise dosile arrangement of friends and club enthusiasts. With this being said, there will be multiple layers within this website to allow for permissions based access to exclusive content.

My vision, is for it to be a place where all of us can go to feel that enthusiasm we had in the beginning... A place that when it snows, or when we bust that lower control arm bolt in the subframe, we can go to calm our nerves and remember why we love our cars.

I really do take a lot of pride in what I do, and I hope that everyone is content with the eventual end result.

I'll pour one for Jago, Todd Huff, and Tim the Stick, the OG Team Sol homies from back in the day... Really, this is our attempt at elegantly maintaining their vision while attempting to graduate slightly away from Team Sol in general.

His SN is joetrisman

OG Team Sol homie checking in. Just found out that HT had a Del Sol forum, as I've been mostly on the Motorcycle page. Shout outs to the old days of Darksol and Automotive Tech! Nice to see you again, Hater.
