hoping i dont get my posts deleted but....here goes
I'm Jon Hsu (Shoe), native of Seattle, WA but living in Santa Barbara, CA for school. The only del sol you guys have seen of mine (Milano Red 95 VTEC) is my 6th car, though i also have another del sol in Seattle (Custom Green Swapped 94 S.... hoping to sell soon.) I am a 2nd year student at Brooks Institute of Photography, and aspiring to be a professional Architectural photographer, with a minor in Automotive photography. I frequently travel the furthest out of all you del sol lackeys to make the meets (usually 2.5 hrs from Santa Barbara) but what can I say.... you guys are real friends. I've really enjoyed spending time with and getting to personally know the following people over the past year: Miko, Marsh, Jimmy, Juan, Terrence, Kevin, Lane, Oscar, Tom, and others. (I hope I didnt leave anyone out!) I sincerely look forward to meeting ANY other solers that come out (James) this way. By this way, of course, I mean anywhere within 4 hours of here. This thread has definately developed stronger friendships than I would have ever imagined possible. The hell with myspace, we have our honda-tech friends. See you all when the next meet rolls around!

Up until a year ago I was an Automotive Journalist which lead me to see and test drive many modified cars, meet lots of great tuners in the business, race drivers and drifters and even tried to get freelance work for two Honda-Tech photographers. I now help run the family business and I'm back in University trying to finish my degree in Psychology.

Hi, im George (yup my parents are old school) Im 17 and a freshman in college, at CSU Pueblo (in Colorado) and i plan to double major the Automotive Industry Management course with thier Journalism course, to become an automotive journalist (and thats why im quoting you James, cuz now i wanna talk to you about automotive journalism).
I have owned 2 del Sols, first a stock gbp 95 S in rough condition i picked up for $2800 with 120000 miles, that i fixed up and painted my self with help from a neigbor who restores classic cars. By the time the S was tragically ended in a sandwich on the highway, i had suspension, a drum to disc swap, color sanded paint, magnaflow exhaust, a DC sports header, and Konig rims; so most of those mods are sitting in my garage waiting to go onto my new sol. I acquired the new sol a 94 DOHC VTEC (ctr camshafts, itr lsd w/ close ratio gearset and 4.785 final drive, clutchmasters clutch, fidanza lightweight flywheel) with 78000 miles on the clock for $7000 in mint condition about a month ago, and now it sits in my parent's garage because i dont want to have it screwed up at college and i definitely dont have much time to put my aftermarket stuff on.
I wish Colorado had more of a car scene, and i wish it didnt snow so much. Ive only met one of you guys, and that person would be Hater, errr... Enerjohn: dunno your real name, and ya probably dont even remember me anyway. And I hope i get to go to VI this year! Thats about it........

Nice stuff Vy. I cant decide if I want new wheels, or just to keep the MR-5's..
Anyone have any good suggestions? Or should I just stick with my Mugens?
On a side note, I will be able to use the MR-5's and the GSR brakes Ive got together without having to use a spacer.
I just need to grind away a small bit of the calipers to clear for the wheel weights.
Not to mention they look sick together. The brakes take up the whole inside.

well, my name's Marchelle (pronounced Marshall) but alot of you guys call me by my nicknames "MACHO" "Marsh" or "Marcho" which is fine too. the "MACHO" thing is basically how you would say my name with a thick *** Japanese accent (ma-cho san). i'm 24 and from the OC area.
i've had my 95' GBP VTEC for a little over a year now if i remember correctly and i previously owned a 93' EJ1 coupe with a GSR swap (which got stolen) and then moved onto a 94 EH2 hatch with an h22 swap (sold) before i got the EG2.
now pics!

(sorry didn't have any "cool" pics with the Sol on the ol school Work Emos)

Whats up everyone my name is Juan and I'm from the San Gabriel Valley and my 93 del Sol Si is my 1st car so its my babdy and I will never get rid of her...I pretty much started all over doing most of the work myself except for the swap that was all thanks to my homie...I'm proud to say my sol is backyard built...recently I was lucky enough to stumble across the old thread and thats where I met all of these cool people that took me into their community (tear)...
ah hell, might as well......
my friends call me stewy, im 19, born and raised in the great state of Texas....i enjoy long walks on the beach, romantic movies, and errr, nvm.......j/p...i had a 1991 CRX Si that i fell in love with the day i sat behind the wheel, unfortunately after being totalled twice i was forced to let her go. since then ive been interested in seeing what the del sol has to offer cuz its like a newer generation CRX. you may see me beating around my town in a 1995 paradise blue green pearl VTEC sol. this heap is a blast to drive and def. a head-turner...i probably wouldnt be so into the sol if i hadnt followed the old thread until it was locked, but it seems like out of every crew/group/mob/mafia/squad, the del sol owners seem to have a bond that sticks. no hating, no dissing, just love. i wanna be a part of that group too!
enough gay **** heres some pics of the stock hotness:

Nice.
I remember seeing s side shot of it with thoes on. I tried looking it up on your site, but its down for some reason
Dont know if you knew anything about it, or if someone is just working on it. But back onto what I was going to ask next. In that picture with the side view, your front brakes look huge for having 15's. Thats what my GSR brakes look like on my 14" Mugens. Do you have an up grade or am I just crazy? lol
The tradition of the sol thead: OWNAGE.
My old motor (Built B18c) *sigh* I miss the fun of it. Anything > stock d15b7

no upgrades here...yet.
it's probably just the way the light was hitting it or something. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Hell yea, thats the one. I guess it could be the light, but damn they cover a crap-ton of inner wheel space/gap!

Nice shot of it again.
I dunno why, maybe just the design of the wheel make it look that way, because on all the rest they arnt anywhere near looking that big.
