if it weren't for **** mods I would be there. still got a bad taste in my mouth from that place. 2 of the people I respect the most banned in the first week.

*shrug* info has been a bit on the lean side since, but what do you expect when the people that know the most move on.

I will speak up if I know the answer but I admit, I am always still learning.
But I really don't care about the whole JDM (this is how everyone should make there car look) thing anyway.
JDM nut swingers are a dime a dozen anymore if you ask me.

Its nice to see some of you come back and help out the noobs, and I appreciate it. wish we didn't have to divide in the first place.

anyway, I am drunk and babbling. everyone have a good night.

Send me some better pics and a price and we'll go from there. Shipping on seats is like $25-35 for the pair.

No, that means that it's a light off another Honda put in the bumper, just like people do for Civic's in the USA. The del Sol rear foglight in in the plate bezel. Those lights are found on EF's, DC's, and some other models.

Based on the part numbers that they come stamped with when people order them, I've found that most of them sold new are from a Honda Capa.

PS -- That's not JDM, it's from the UK. It may be a Japanese import, but that's a UK car. That light was probably put in as a legal standard, and the person did not want to pay the ungodly amount of money from the dealership for a new plate garnish with foglight, so they put in one from an older model.

This is why this thread sucks *****. You have the knowledgeable people give a straight answer, and then some pissant who's seen a 'picture on the internet' comes in and tries discredit them.

Would be awesome if you were able to make it to VI but I understand.
Anytime you are welcome to stay with me, and MMP would be a blast. It's part of the reason I am getting the sol all fixed up.

Everything Jason said is correct (albeit a bit harsh ). Also, look at the lines on the top of that rear bumper light you pictured...it's not even level with the bumper lines. Total hack job.

In the UK and Europe, it's not an optional part -- it's a legal requirement. Keep quiet when the grown-ups are talking.

Not all del Sol's came with a B16A3. Was that an "optional" motor?

The rear fog lamp came STANDARD on any del Sol sold within the UK and Europe. If the car is an import from Japan, it must be equipped with a rear fog lamp upon import -- to meet inspection and registration requirements. Most cars like that are imported through a dealership or import/export company. These will be retrofitted with the factory del Sol rear fog lamp. Some cars, if imported by a private party, will have other options used, such as hack-jobbing the bumper light, or using an aftermarket unit, like a Valeo or Raybrig bolt-on lamp.

Seriously, be quiet.

thats the same as saying not all del sol comes with the rear fog light...bcuz its optional, its either you want to buy one with it or without it...and there are two types of b16 motors...b16a2 for obd2
