haha i don't like revvin past 55 when the engine temp isn't high enough for VTEC. it would be pointless to rev my b16 that high with no vtec lovin.

Ive never done it, but it dosent hurt anything, unless you do it all the time.

Wrong... There's a reason why VTEC doesn't engage... No engine should be ran at high RPM's until proper temperature is reached...

Nothings gonna happen if you forget once or twice. Now if you do it every day, youl soon end up with scored camshafts and whatnot

 

yea but think about it, before your cars all warmed up all the oil sitting in the bottom of your motor and you hitting 6K, vtec engages taking even MORE oil pressure that your motor doesnt' have yet..... its just wrong.

yeah, thats why vtec dosent engage til its safe. Bottom line is dont try to go hitting vtec right out the driveway, its not good. But if you forget once its not like everything blows up.
