I'm 28, and I have 3 hondas, the wagon the sol and my ghetto accord.
Yes car's are a waste of money, but even since my 1st birthday (i had a car on my cake) I've only ever been interested in cars, I watched my brother go through dinosaurs, aircraft, military, skateboards, and art as hobbies, all I've ever had an interest in is cars all my life.
I've always considered giving it up, but I cant, even when I'm 40-50 and my kids (assuming I dont shoot blanks) have left home, I think there will, actually I KNOW there will be another toy to tinker with. Grow up? I dont think I'll ever grow up, I'm happy with what I have, not material things, but I've got more going for me than a lot of less fortunate people do. You will gain and lose on investments, it's a matter of choice and making the right decisions, and happiness is way more important than monetary values. I dont wana not enjoy life while I'm here.

You could be the richest man and well off, but I'd rather be living the life Ian's leading than that.

:Edit: i've just painted half of the interior of my wagon with only the rear open so i'm a lil high right now, sorry if i dont make much sense lol

and whoever said the thing about meeting people on honda-tech... its ******* true i mena damn i never would have guessed to know some random hill billy that rents a house and has a wife yet still trys to carry on his pasion for tuning, esp a sol, or a greek god that just got back a sexy newly painted sol, or even a gay kid named jimmy that has one of the rarest del sols of all time

but in all seriousness honda tech/this thread, has helped me keep the passion for tuning my sol alive and i know im wasting my money on the sol but its just money and if i enjoy one second out of it, then it all is worth it

ohh and i know of a friend selling a 4 door teg with a swapped b16a1 in it (looking to part out the teg and take the motor)... how can i tell what obd it is?... sry im a noob i know

na its a dc teg... but i know its swapped... person only wants 1g for it cuz they dont car about tunning... its a long story how they got it... but come on a ok condition dc teg with b16a1 for 1g... hell i could part it out and make some of my money back at least...

 

that motor is out of 90-93 jdm civic its obd0, I wouldnt bother with it

edit: not to mention anyone that puts obd0 motors in obd1/2 cars are retarded and the car is probibly fucked with stolen parts thats why he is selling it for 1k

na some chick and her mom are selling it... a cousin or some close relative of the fam owned it and he was always going to come back adn fix it up but was off to college and basically the girl needs a car and dosent want that one, and is just trying to get rid of it, so hints why they selling it for so cheap, not to mention the driver side quater panel is completly rusted... but me and a friend drove it and it ran fine, just didnt have much gas in it, but the b16a1 is a obd0?
