It's not that there's anything "wrong" with any of the new names around here...but there is a certain pattern that this thread has always followed. You can learn so much about the del Sol here from very knowledgeable owners...all the various aftermarket parts that are worth getting, the ones to steer clear from, stuff that works, stuff that doesn't, fun DIY's, appealing DIY's that end up coming back to bite you...all with personal experience.

The key is to sit back and observe for a while. You will get the feel of everything. No one is opposed to new blood, but this thread is a group of friends who all happen to love the same car. Read, read, read, read, search, read, read, read, read and then if you happen to have a novel question, ask. Once you have the idea, you can start helping those out there who are just coming in (as you once were).

It's an awesome community with a lot of cool people. But lane nailed it on the head a couple pages back, you jus gotta be willing to play it on the sidelines for a while before you jump on and start posting whatever trying to be cool. It's not like that. A lot of the honda world is like that, but not in here.

That being said, have fun, enjoy the Sol and keep us updated on all your projects.

Valve Cover looks good, how long did it take you?

 

it took bout an hour. i picked up an already stripped of paint valvecover. it says to let sit for 7days cuz its heat resistant so it takes longer to fully dry. but ya its all good. better to do it right then have to start over.
