as there is no standing thread,
i'm standing here :

Good, I present myself JDMsol91 A.K.A Thomas.
I am French and originating in Normandy, I actually reside in a pretty village in the east suburbs of Paris and more precisely in the 94.

And say that ?
I am a Taliban Honda and insane furious CR-X delSol !
I fell love to the delSol for my 14/15 years when I came across one for the first time.
I fell love with that become one impassioned from the Japanese models with the ninety's,

It is quite simply the car of my dreams!
A dream which was carried out since July 5 2009, I went to seek it at 700km from my home, thanks to my job of Network and System Administrator.

In short if I'm passioned of information technology, and graduate with bac+2 in IT maintenance, I am also graphic designer Web and print, and webdesigner at my lost hours.
It is a field which passions me as well as photography or I would like to launch me.
Shooting conveys, shooting model of charm in N&B and landscape into panoramic especially and automotive obviously !

My passions:
- mechanical sports: Rally, Drift, Run, grip, HONDA, Japanese women in general and style JDM. A little tuning.
- IT: maintenance hardware/software, graphic design, webdesign and photograph.
- sports: VTT freeride and street/dirt, basketball, a little tennis and musculation.

I hope to spend good moments here.

I would present as it should be my CR-X delSol USDM/JDM style in the appropriate section


*Just a few clarifications* :

For the three major continent :

JDM ************* EDM (UK/FR/DE/IT/SP/BE/NL...) ************* USDM (USA/CANADA)

92-95 VXi (EG1) ------ nothing model ----------------------------------------- 93-97 S (???)
95-97 VGi (EJ4) ------ 93-98 ESi (EH6) --------------------------------------- 93-97 Si (???)
92-97 SiR (EG2) ------ 93-95 VTi (EG2) --------------------------------------- 94-97 VTEC (EG2)

And the major difference is the 2nd gen. front end ("duck" LoL) for JDM EJ4 version and USDM 96-97 S and Si version, (if my memory serves me correctly).

Just for the difference, in Japan, this steering wheel manufactured by "MOMO" at the time is the option for two models of the Honda range :

option for : Civic SiR-II (EG6) and CR-X delSol (EG2)
but standard for the special series : Civic SiR-S (EG6)

So you gotta have your corner lights on as well??

Is there a way to wire them up so that only the aux lights come on. with no other lights on at all..

an empty spot on the fuse box that only turns on when the key is turned would be best to use.

hmmm thats alot of wiring just to have them on alone... haha my corner light is out on one side thats the only reason i didnt like the corner light and aux light idea... I cant find the short for where mine is out tho.

Maybe the socket is corroded? Or a wire by the socket is cut?

Can they turn on with the highbeams too or no?

Yes.

If the headlight switch is turned on in any way, the AUX lights will work (with the AUX switch on of course)

Yeah the socket was corroded thats one of the first things I checked.. so i threw one off my pals EG.... and still nothing.. SO im gonna inspect the wires saturday. I dont care until I get a fix it ticket.
