I got the COOLEST little gadget for use with my radio in my del Sol. Pictures tomorrow.

I have to go to bed soon -- waking up at 430a to be at my first client by 530a ... so I can drive down to Kelso and help contest Amy's BS ticket.

I'm praying that you will man!! Getting up at 8 am tomorrow to work on it. Finally have a day off.

Only things left:
- Mount battery box
- Wire up the engine harness
- Drop in radiator
- Connect small annoying hoses here and there
- Bolt my rear suspension
- START!

**Only thing I was going to do is swap to my stock cam for now. But I'm thinking about running it as is right now and see what happens. If it acts up i'll swap the cams. If not, then just calling it a day.

So should be running tomorrow for sure.

Turbo setup is good to go but I don't know if I'll finish my exhaust. Waiting on my flex pipe and other pipes to arrive. Still gotta mod the oil pan for the return line.

That's pretty much what's left. So I don't know!!

The only thing is my bumper's paint is still cracked so it won't look nice for IA. I'm too broke to paint it right now

hahah yeah don't mind that. I'm worried about replacing that LATER. Just trying to get the **** running first haha

Thats honestly not that bad of a list. I mean definitely a good days work for sure but nothing you can't handle it seems

I hate when finishing something comes down to waiting for parts because its just out of your control. No matter how much time and effort you are willing to put in or even friends to help out, its usless w/o parts.

Good luck man. turbo set up looks nice

i used to have the apexi rsm (d1 edition lol) in my car for a while...it was pretty cool and something nice to have/look at

i remember back in the day before chipping/tunable ecu's when apexi things were so popular.

I was going to put a VAFCII in my car for fun but think I got something better in store

the tsx k24 is a nice motor, ill give it that, but 99.9% of people who swap in k24's use the crv/accord/etc k24a4.. i guess i assumed thats what he's going with

idk i stand by my statement.. no offense, k series is very nice, yes i wouldnt mind having one, but still think its overpriced/overrated

oh, its *torque on torck

LOL

thats what people say about mugen/jdm/authentic parts..."nice but overpriced/overrated"

also overpriced not the same as expensive. the swap is expensive because it takes a lot of new/different parts but the price of each piece is not super inflated or anything to be deemed "overpriced"

That's why I don't like jdm parts. I have 0 jdm parts and I don't care.

lol lets not even go there.. for the motor your gunna get, is ~6-8k REALLY worth 160hp? hell even the 205, if you so happen to get a tsx motor.. lets not get butthurt now, just giving my opinion.. i just think its a little silly to get rid of a 400+ (?) whp motor, spend a few grand more for a motor thats going to make well less then half the power..

i guess thats why i just boosted my d, rather then stock b swap

going fast > baller

just stating my opinion

of course its not worth it if you keep it stock but it might be considering what you can do with it and the potential it has in the future if you build.
300-400whp NA is no problem in a built K now a days even in a street car (not on pump but still feasible)...but when was the last time you got something like that from a B/D/H other than in a race car?

there are also other factors besides just peak hp to account for, like torque or even the 6spd tranny.

if you're referring specifically to this guys case with a perfectly fine boosted b making good power than I completely agree its kinda silly or a waste. I only swapped cause I had problems but if I didn't then I probably would of stuck with it...maybe. Still not enough to fully justify the swap but figured I could rebuild again and have to make it better which means more money or start fresh from square one but with something different so that I'm actually making progress and not just downgrading.
Its funny cause I had a 404whp LS-vtec top mount turbo as my last set up, but it didn't last long. If I had the technology/info/resources back then thats availabe today then it probably would of been more reliable.

Not trying to go "anywhere" and perfectly fine stating your opinion but just thought it was biased so stated mine, which is also biased too. I understand perfectly why tony palo and a majority of the outlaw class and the fastest hondas in general are still B-series. Can't beat two decades of R&D that went into those motors which K-series simply does not have. But its come a long way for the few years its been around and moving fast. Especially in the NA game which that class is already dominated by K (Clutchmasters insight, EG and DC).
