It's ABS. i'm not a fan of urethane as much anymore due to it getting soft in high heat. Plus the ABS can take a bunch of abuse and show little damage.

IMO

top looks great man. makes me want a blue tinted one...did you have to tear down your oem white top for all the hardware or did u get a spare top? I miss being able to put my white one back on for the complete white look....too bad it flew off lol

hey mate,

thanks for the kind words. I think we like each others cars cause we have a fetish for white del sols :p

Yeah white chassis is the go i think. when i pull the car apart again i'm going to do it even better. I want to shave the interior a bit if possible to make it even smoother and a nice new coat of paint across the whole car would be good. At the moment she's frost white but championship white is on the cards ! YAY!

Yeah i went blue tint cause it is a higher UV rating and in australia its definately something i need hehe. I had to swap all my parts over to the new one. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a damaged roof so i can set my white one up with the latches so i can have the glass one on the car and the other one in the boot. I think that would be cool. Not great for weight but it would be cool to say "my car has two roofs on it yO!" haha.

Your white one flew off?!!! are you serious?? no way! ur jokin right?

Are you kidding? Because ABS just cracks with the slightest scrape/bump. I find poly to be much more giving.

Well the creaking dash is the same problem i'm having, I haven't tried to fix it. I don't really want to pull the dash. Perhaps if you tighten the bolts holding the dash in it will go away. I might have to try that.

Describe the noise that occurs with the A/C

I have a driver door noise too... a rattling noise. The other day I finally figured it out, after taking the panel off around 10 times and securing everything in the door. Turns out that the grommet in the door panel where the screw under the handle (not the handle that opens the door) bolts into to secure the door panel is worn out and the screw won't tighten fully... I have new grommets coming on the way for this location on each door panel.

Wow, nothing on that car fits. Sorry.

The mouldings are installed wrong, the lip has HUGE glaring gaps....

You used an EK lip. There's like a 4 inch gap on either side.

And the bumper moulding are just purely mounted in the WRONG spots. They come with instructions, you should have followed them. They're supposed to be down further and back further towards the wheels. Basically, they start where the reflectors used to be.
