i've never seen a 4dr ex with a lip...

and OEM i can't recall seeing any Si hatch with one either.. that's why i always call it an EX lip. not ex/si....

the 4dr bumpers i beleive are a little squarer at the bottom than coupe/hatch... so maybe those are better for the slightly longer 96-97 front?

i looked at it earlier and i saw that its missing a belt..
the belt that connects the ac to the thingy..
i jst wanna know what the belt is called?

lol thanks, man. and yes they are depot 96-00 fog lights. the harness is the same and it came with an OEM appearing switch. amazing investment lol.

it's called the "A/C belt".

Anyone at a shop or auto parts store will know what you're talking about if you say "A/C belt", but I guess the specific name would be "A/C drive belt".

 

nice, but the MXL has 5 built in shift lights, and 6 alarms, and monitors oil pressure, water temp, oil temp, egt, boost or whatever you wanna hook up to it.. and also does lap timing. This one is the basic model, so it doesn't have datalogging, it just records up to 250 laps.

finally got the rpm, speedo, gear selector and lap timer all dialed in. Just waiting on connectors to come in so I can wire up the water temp sensor.. pretty excited to get everything up and running!

that s2k cluster is a super clean install

i don't use the mxl on a daily basis, just when i go to the track. i wasn't planning to get one for the del sol, but i got this one for a steal off ebay, probably cheaper than an s2000 cluster.

right, the lip did not come on a si, BUT it did come on the vx. so you could call it an ex/vx lip

Hey guys... Can you help me ID this part? IDK what the hell the reservoir is for. I wanna yank it out for my intercooler install.

 

its part of the stock intake system. i believe its a resonator to keep the intake quiet

 

Yeah, its not really connected to anything. Its just this ugly looking box that sits there. I'm about to rip it out and and use it for a portable urinal.

 

My oil pump came in today. They sent me a b series pump. I'M FURIOUS!!!

I was suppose to have EVERYTHING assembled tomorrow so I can start it over the weekend! I hope I can get a new pump ASAP. Wish me luck guis

 

its connected to the lower intake tube that feeds the bottom of the air box. i took it out a long time ago, it made my z6 crossover noticeable, and i was pumped

 

Anyone have pictures of the Siebon TD lip actually on a car? **** looks weird as hell off and I want to know what it actually looks like installed.

i tried taking the resonator off of the intake when my motor was all stock, and it absolutely KILLED low end torque. I put it back on immediately.
