I don't want it to be a shiney metal, I want it to be black, and I don't want sharp ends. I'd have to cover it in something - Maybe rino liner?

I have a hammer but not one used for metalwork.

And I want my splitter to be sharp enough to sever the ankles of people when I hit them.

Just leave a trail of shoes....

I know im horrible.

Was just out in the garage, and that rubber liner thats on the rear fenders, wonder if I could get something like that to put on the edges of the splitter?

Oh well dunno, my dad worked with sheet metal for 23 years. I can probably get him to fab something up for me

Picked up a peice of sheet metal to **** around with.

Looking at it now, I don't think it will look good with my ex lip

Lip is kind of round, low on the cornors and high in the center. It looks goofy with a flat peice of metal under it.

i think you are referring to vtecyzf or something (mitch was him name)
he was from canada and posted pics of his sol once
gunmetal, yellow lower fogs, edm aux, jdm one piece, edm fog, fillers, on silver 16" regas, etc etc
man i hate to spread the drama but from what i remember and the drama on the thread was that he paid $800 for the wing and thought it was real but seller said he wasn't sure and it could or could not be. obviously had to have clips to even have a chance, so gen2 out of the question. also got the emblem/badge from sean, which he got with is replica?

anyways, he came on here not too long ago parting out his del sol jdm stuff
had teh wing up for sale for like $450? think delsol3 got the headlights and maplights/rods from him if i'm not mistaken

but ya, my point is that i don't think its the same guy in that thread
think he is another person thats is also on here and posted before

Thanks for the heads up. but since the motor I was getting fell through im spending all my money on new suspension and rubber.

No money to spend on a wing. I would love to have a real one but Honestly I know I would never be able to afford one.

God I wish I could dump eaither my Koni / GC or my rims / tires.

Can't slam the konis, but the tires I have a ment for dumped cars

So I either want to get a beter coilover setup to dump my ****, or get new rims / rubber to take advantage of all the work I put into my suspension.

Get tires. Be agressively low but still functional and you will enjoy your car tons.

Im hopeing for a mix of dumped funtionality. If thats possible. If not (and its probabably not) Ill have a low DD with it Dumped for shows.

Yeah, only problem with tires is I'll have to get an all season performace tire.

It is my DD after all, so even then I wont be able to get that much out of it.

Looking at some BFG's, but I really want to lose these rims. They are so over played.

And I'm not sure how low I'll be able to take my konis yet, I'd like it to not have ANY gap between fender and the tire but we'll see.

so why the **** has the search feature been down for like a week. Man that pisses me off.

Anyway...is there anyway that you can get JDM map lights to work without the rods? I just received mine today from this dude and yes they are super mint but they didn't come with rods. The seller said that you can get around this situation...his words..."no you don't need special rods, i've already modified the piece needed for them to fit, so ill send them as well so you don't have to do it."

Well I don't see how to get around the situation without the rods unless you guys have any input.

hey pm me too on how to do it without the rods. i have the rods just too lazy to put them back in.

edit: also since everyone is talking about the gen1 fugens with the clips. cant someone just come up with some custom clips for the new fugens? i know there isnt a pocket to put the clip around so there may be a gap unless someone cuts it up. just a thought.

Well I guess whats going on is you're suppose to take your stock bracket off your door handles and mount that on your door, making sure that its in pretty much the same location as it would have been if it was still attached to the backside of the door handle. Then just use like self tapping screws to attach it and then you can use your stock door cables

I don't know what program you're tuned on but I'm running Neptune Pro and I have one of these boost solenoids:

It is the exact same thing as the AEM one but it is the MAC valve (AEM uses MAC valves and just puts there name on it) But you just wire this into one of the open ports on your ecu and the other wire to a ground and your tuner can do wonders with it through the program, anddd its better cause the boost controller pulsates and helps to better regulate the boost unlike manual controllers. Just something to think about since the MAC valves can be had on ebay for like 50 some odd dollars.

EDIT: Just saw you said you already bought that other boost controller. Oh well
